GrammarPolice Tester 1.0.0.2

(1 review)

1 Screenshot

This is a standalone test application to help troubleshoot issues with Grammar Police (or if you just want to try out the speech engine).

You do NOT need this to use Grammar Police.  It's just for testing.  You don't need it.  Seriously.

What's New in Version 1.0.0.2

Released

Added more diagnostics.

This appears to be of great potential.  I will test it out and do some research with it for sure. I'll let you know of anything of significance. I look forward to the possibilities of it.

So I ran it thru Virus Total ( I do this with every .exe file ) and came back as a Malicious software?image.thumb.png.55a6f6ed29fc340e81fd641dd4dd0eb9.png

It's not malicious software.  Perhaps SecureAge objects to the use of the microphone?

I am confused on what this mod does. Does it improve vocal dispatch recognizing? Do I install the gammar.xml to vocal dispatch folder?

This is just a standalone application that utilizes the grammar engine I've been working on.  My hope was that people would test it and let me know if they feel it's more accurate than VocalDispatch.  The video is a demonstration of me testing the engine.  I am working on a full mod that essentially replaces VocalDispatch, but it's not quite ready for release yet.

Thank you for your feedback. This is definitely more accurate than vocal dispatch. I hope I can see the full release. Keep it up!

This is awesome! It even easily lets me change the ten codes to twelve codes Oregon state uses.. which for some reason Vocal wouldn't let me do.. now if you can make this actually dispatch through like Ultimate Backup and or STP that would be neat :0

I have gone though many testings. This is way better than default vocal dispatch. One problem is that I can't say something like this "we are at east Joshua road requesting code 3 Backup" however I can say this the opposite way  "requesting code 3 backup at east Joshua road". The command must say first before adding new your own words.

Also, is there a way where we can hold a button and release just like real life? Because apparently I haven't finish talking and it ended.

Thanks for testing it!

I don't think I'll be able to address the first suggestion.  The price of accuracy is pre-defining the possible phrases.  Tacking on extra stuff at the end is fine.  Adding miscellaneous stuff to the middle might be impossible.

I'm more optimistic about the second idea.  I'll see if I can figure out a way to do that and make it optional.  Thanks for the ideas!

@cooltheme Is this what you had in mind?  Dispatch won't respond until you release the talk key.

Is there a way we can already use this in-game? Should we replace VocalDispatch files or create a new folder in Plugins/LSPDFR? @opus49

No no no, this is just a demo to show off the voice recognition.  I'm close to having a full mod done.  I'll be sure to post it here when it's ready.

Also is there a way to change the callsign or will there be in the future?

Yes 🙂 I believe that is what most people would want. Thank you for trying it and releasing a demo video.

There will be an .ini file.  I'm hoping to have it done and uploaded this weekend.

I like everything you showcase in your video. What I like the most is the officers en route to your location give an estimate time. This improve realism. And also don't forget I like the hold talk feature. Omg!! I can't wait for it to release!
