This mod is not causing tasers to be deadly. Likely something else effecting your game.

Deadly Weapons is a plugin for LSPDFR to add a more dangerous feel to guns. GTA makes people sponges for gameplay, but LSPDFR aims for a more realistic approach.

 

With deadly weapons I increase damage taken by weapons for both the player and AI. Damage varies between limbs and whether the ped is wearing armor or not. It also introduces new auto panic button behavior for when the player fires their weapons.

I really like the knockdown for your player on a near fatal shot, I just wish it would leave you down and need to call for medic, flag you as "invisible" so NPCs don't keep shooting you and then leave you in a ragdoll until Medics arrive and give you a med kit... I know when you're dead you're dead, this is just something I'd really like to see.

Hi! I was looking at the config file and messing around with what backup units it calls. It says enable multiple, does that mean multiple of the Code3Backup or does that just mean I can have all three backup types turned on? Thanks for your help!

Just means you can have one of each, I didn't include more than that because in my testing people had like 4 or 5 units show up and their game would crash from all the 4k vehicles. Then proceed to blame me for it 😛

There's a mod known as "Watch your death" in the 5mods website though i don't think it's compatible with Deadly weapons but check with PyroManiac on that because you never know! I would love that option to stay on the ground and watch everything come into play while im "dead" its dope.

Yeah it's not compatible. I do want to add a chance to be "Rescued" but I was not able to get it to work in my testing, well at least not in a good way. Player always turned into Micheal. Something I want to do in the future.

This mod has a constant lack of sync with the whole - 'weapon spotted feature' - most of the time searching the vehicle returns no results - or the person,
Instead its just a false alert which almost always appears.

Also is the feature of customising how many units respond on panic present?

So that feature is 100% spot on. Issue is that the search mods do not actually show what is on a ped, it randomly generates stuff from a config. I attempted to make it forcefully add it to Stop The Ped searched but sometimes that doesn't work. If you got the notification, they have a gun in the game, the searching mod might not care though. That's an issue with them, not this.

About backup, a couple comments up has the answer for that.

I think the problem is in the research mod you installed , with mine it works it doesn't happen to me, I think it's indivudual based on the research mods , the mod I use is where there are weapons with real names , I don't remember the name of the mod , what I often regret is that with two gunshots they kill me , several traffic stops where in reality with the adrenaline and the lack of preparation of criminals in shooting, the agents are hardly injured , yesterday two traffic stops in a row, I did not have time to take out the weapon that they put me down, and in the evening in a ped stop , he tries to escape he suddenly turns , two shotsfire  , the first pulls me down where I remain semi-immobile , the second shotfire kills me , I like it where it stays semi-still , kind of wounded , but it's shots fired by people who have no training most of the time , then I always use bulletproof tactical vests , as if I didn't have any , if you could greatly decrease the mortality of a ped agent in the chest area would be great @SuperPyroManiac

I'm talking with someone on my Discord, and we are thinking the AI Accuracy in the ini is not working. I will be checking that out and update as soon as I fix it. So their aim will be much worse and give you a much better experience.

Hi there after updating to the lastest version 2.0.5 its seems you did a great work on the plugin. But there is one problem, the suspect dies very fast, like they died from falling

This shouldn't effect them falling. Ill look into it more but yes, they are supposed to die faster. Usually when you shoot someone there is a high chance of them dying.

I love you mod but it seems after this last update my performance has significantly dropped and I haven't done anything else but update your mod. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hmm, in my testing it worked well. Im going to do some more testing and find a solution and update again.
For now if it's impairing gameplay you can use the old version.

It seems like the problem has resolved itself, for some reason after I restarted my computer I don't get the same 70+ frame drop anymore. 

 

Great work on the mod and thanks for getting back to me quick!

hi, recently downloaded this mod, made my game SUPER laggy. uninstalled worked fine

I mean the reason they were died because felt from a height. Is this a part of your plugin?

If you are having lag issues with the new version, please join my Discord and tell me what PC specs you have.
 

All of my testers including me are seeing no drop in performance. I am unable to fix the issue without some people to help me test what it causing it.

Heyo! I think the plugin is cool and find it quite fun, but I have two suggestions.

- Accuracy in the .ini should have a difference, so say civilian peds, like the gangsters, and the meth-heads in BC, along with just regular civilians are put into one group that can have an accuracy value.

On the other hands, peds like the Marines, Army, USAF, Merryweather are put into a different group that can also have a different accuracy value, to reflect how they'd be more trained, then say a local crackhead.

- 2nd suggestion, If you can, I really suggest you make this compatible with Watch Your Death, as when I revive myself, I go flying into the air, and become micheal, either mid-air or when I end up slamming into the ground after seemingly jesus christ himself has a chat with me.

I feel the first option is overkill but I can look into it.

Second option, impossible. These mods both effect the players health and death. They will never be compatible no matter what I do unfortunately.

You can't make it so instead of 'dying' it puts you into a sort of critically injured state? I don't know much about coding or how plugins work, unfortunately, but that's a shame.

I could but then anyone without that mod would never ever die. That's the issue
