An issue has been identified with the latest build of GTA V and LML. A new build will fix this in the future. The issue is caused by a change in GTA V's DRM/anti-tamper.


In the meantime, as a workaround starting the game with RPH will allow LML to work. You could also launch RPH when GTA V is at the mode selection screen, waiting for RPH to load, then selecting Story Mode.

The general idea of Lenny's Mod Loader is to provide an easy way to install file modifications. This is achieved in two different ways depending on whether existing resources in the game are to be 'replaced' or if new resources are added to the game as 'addons'. To replace resources, the game file system can be modified on a per-file basis allowing you to quickly change the content of files without touching any RPFs. To add new resources, the new content can be loaded from disk directly into the game, again without the need for any RPF changes. Goodbye to patchday17 and dlclist.xml. Certain mods, such as vehicles, can even be loaded at runtime, making choosing your new favorite ride a breeze.

I tried this multiple times with multiple addon vehicles from 5mods, but it always says that it replaces certain files and I have to restart the game to load the vehicles. Am I doing something wrong?  @LMS

Cannot get it to work. As far as downloading and conversions and all it seems to behave normally but Rage terminates the game and reports corrupt game data as soon as the Rockstar splash screen comes on. Tried to remove the LML files and managed to get into the loading screen but now LSPDFR just crashes. edit : leftover EUP files caused that.

every time i download a mod into LML and attempt to run rage and Gtav it crashes. it only happens once i dl a mod. any mod. can anyone HELP ME? I tried deleting and re downloading lml the mods  you name it

Unfortunately doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm having the same issues it appears any others are having, with a corrupted game file warning whenever it tries to use a mod. Even with no other mods and a clean install, it crashes the game even with the test vehicle. Hope this gets fixed, and looking forward to trying it again when it does. Back to the old fashioned way until then...

Hi triniarin.     are you saying we do not use Lenny's Mod Loader anymore.   we are to use OpenIV in order to install Coastal Callouts?  

I have tried for 3 days now to load Coastal callouts using Lenny's Mod Loader, yet it doesnt recognise the game had already started - in the background.

Hab gesehen, das du aus Deutschland kommst, darum die frage auf Deutsch: hat ds Virensystem es nur als PUA oder als richtigen Virus erkannt?
Frage 2: Ist es einer? hab da etwas sorge. Darum bitte nicht beleidigend sehen ok? 😉

Definitely a false positive. BTW, you really shouldn't be worried about a single detection.

    EVERYTIME I HAVE THE VERSION.dll installed my Rockstar game launcher wont load the game it says loading then it just closes the game launcher. I remove the version.dll the game then loads fine obviously LML wont work without version.dll makes no sense why it does this. Please help

    I have the same problem, game never loads the first time with this new update, i have to keep trying and about the 4th or 5th time i try it'll finally load.

    This isn’t working, and crashes my game on loading screen, if I rename (Version.dll to _Version.dll it works so the Version.dll file is messed up

    No, your mods are messed up. The version.dll file is what loads LML, with it renamed LML is not loaded, and hence, neither are your mods. I would wager that your game would also load if you renamed the lml folder to _lml, which would mean LML is working perfectly fine, just not your mods.

    Have you installed the latest version of LML?

     

    I just launched the game with 25 mods installed through LML that were almost all downloaded and installed 1-2 years ago, so I seriously doubt there's suddenly an issue.
