SuperEvents is a plugin for LSPDFR to add more ambient events. Currently adds 8 new events with plans for many more!

Not only that, it has a fully fledged API that allows people to add their own events, just as easy as making a callout pack! (https://github.com/SuperPyroManiac/ExampleEvents)

 

With SuperEvents I aim to add more unique ambient events to LSPDFR with a uniform feel. I add both realistic and crazy new ones that will be played randomly. You are also able to disable and enable any features you choose. I recommend pairing this plugin with my other plugin Deadly Weapons and SuperCallouts to completely change how the game feels.

Do you have control over spawn points? I do not remember my EXACT location but I was driving, I assume under the highway in the picture below or near it and it spawned a fight event on the highway. Would be random in real life in the middle of highway with no other cars around!!

if they generate too many, perhaps the only "flaw", and sometimes in strange positions, I maybe disable "reckless driving", also because of his lspdfr generates bad drivers all the time, if I can manage them with less time is perfect, I do not know if changing in the ini file the 10 seconds for example in the 30s , it better stabilizes the spawn frequency

The SpawnPoints are random, I have many custom spawnpoints for the side of the road that are good for pullovers, and some of those spots are on the highway so peds might spawn there. I'll try to see if I can make it so some events won't spawn on the highway.

 

Now for the event timer. It's default value in the ini file is 110 seconds. You could increase it to even 300 seconds. You said you have it at 10 seconds, so every time a callout or event ends it only takes 10 seconds and a new one will spawn. I recommend having it at least 60 seconds. When I play I set it to 300 seconds.

 

For those who do not know, you can change settings in the .ini file!

So the error my  plugin posted was due to LSPDFR crashing and forcefully ending SuperEvents. The actual crash came from Interaction+ I believe. I did some research and someone said this:

The error you got generally happens when plugins try to use the same ped, or use the same thing at the same time.  As long as it's not happening all the time, you're fine.

hi @SuperPyroManiac , do you think you won't put it in the next "hot car" update ? because the animal after stopping the master starts the car and leaves , in case there would be this error to fix

In 2.0 i'm removing that callout. I may re-add it someday if I get it to work.

@SuperPyroManiac Hi ! I noticed you can't change the keybinds, it just doesn't work ingame, even though i edited the .ini.

Known issue I found, when you set the keybind in the .ini instead of "Keys.Y" just put "Y" or whatever key you want.

That's odd, when I test it or see YouTubers using it, it works. Try again and see if it still happens?

how did they call firedepartment anyway? i did with phone there is no option to call fire dep. in the plugins i use.

To be honest I LOVE these events. I've downloaded the super Callouts with this one and it makes my gameplay fun as hell. Had so much fun today (besides some tiny bugs sometimes. Fire Rescue can't extinguish fire so I have to call another fire rescue via Ultimate Backup, or the park the engine in the middle of the fire lol but that's ok.  🙂  I have no crashes, no fps drops or anything. Its just fun to play . Keep up the good work 🙂 👍

Is it just me or does the NPC in the open carry event not carrying any gun at all when we witness the open carry event?

to me too, I believe there is, I see it as "signaling" which then turns out to be negative in the search , I personally like it that it is not taken for granted that we find weapons by force , I think it is not a mistake , also because in other "open carry" then I find weapons or point weapons or try to escape

Read Dead Redemption 2 is magnificent , after the story there is an open world with impressive interests to play, in vast graphically detailed areas to explore ect ect, after a year of playing, I often go inside and just go hunting or looking for plants , yes don't forget "domestic violence" for this excelent your mod : D

I have it set for them to carry the gun, but i'll double check that it is working.

Do you have a log file I can look at? I am unable to re-create the issue you are having.

I would also add to that. Getting the same crash as that other guy. Basically, it seems that the game gets confused, gives you the wrong dialogue, and then crashes when it's unable to execute an event that isn't applicable to the situation.

Could you please provide your RagePluginHook.log after it crashes, I can't reproduce the error to fix it myself.

Thank you, I have just now fixed the issue. It will be updated soon. For now you can disable the car accident event in the SuperEvents.ini file.
