SuperEvents 4.0.1.0

Here is a progress update for you guys, so I have added interactions to the events that could use them, for example the fight can now be stopped when you talk with them. (Default key will be Y)

They are very basic but in the future I will have a full RageNativeUI for both of my plugins to really add more detail to the events and callouts.

I also have made major changed to the way I handle events. With callouts they are very easy to keep stable but events have so much randomness it's easy to trigger an error and have a crash. Now though, if an error happens, the event will just end and the plugin will continue and not cause any issues with lspdfr or GTA. Here is what it looks like when an error does happen.

Normally that would crash LSPDFR entirely. Now as you can see it just spits the error in the log then continues on, and will continue to generate new events!

Now all I need is new ideas! Please let me know what you would like to see!

No suggestion on new events at the moment, but there is a needed fix: emergency vehicles (or peds) can be chosen for events, which doesn't make much sense and can conflict with other plugin functions.

Whoops, I have it check if they are a cop but forgot the other groups.

Hard to tell without the entire log but it looks like something crashed LSPDFR, and LSPDFR force ended the event plugin which generated an error.

Hmm the way I check if it is police is by they're relationship group. So if they are not set as "COP" it would grab them.

I can add another check to this which will see if the vehicle they are in has a siren. This will not fix the open carry event though as they are not in a vehicle when they get selected. I'll see what I can do to fix this. EDIT: I have also just added checks if they are MEDIC, or FIREMAN. Issue is if ultimate backup doesn't already set them as those than the plugin can still pull them.

I have a big update, half way done. All events will have some sort of interactions to them, and a new interaction menu for everything. I'll post later a little example! I will also be implementing the same type of interactions with my callout plugin! No new events currently but I want to get these ones perfect first.

• Added interaction menu to all events! Default key is 'Y' (Can change in the .ini)
• Improved error handling. Crashes should no longer effect the game but rather just post an error and move on.
• Added Stop The Ped integration. Will now have custom items when searched with that plugin!
• Added Ultimate Backup integration. Can now automatically dispatch useful backup with the interaction menu!
• Added config option to disable / enable hints when you arrive on scene. Recommended you leave it as true.
• Fixed an issue where the plugin may grab EMS, Cops, or Fire Fighters for events.
• Modified every single event, many have changed! (Only 1 scenario for each but there will be many more soon!)

Interactions are still new, PLEASE let me know what you think / can change.

Known issues:

If you teleport your character at the same time an event start LSPDFR will crash.

I do not know how to set the Ped as an owner of a vehicle with Stop The Ped addon.

Seems that its only your plug ins that take hours or days to be reviewed and released. I see updates all the time or even new plugins and they are released almost right away doesnt make alot of sense to me why it takes so long for these one s and others not hardly anytime at all if any

@SuperPyroManiac when this was first released I installed and had frequent crashes I know this because I instlled played had crashes uninstalled played had no crashes repeated several times with same result so I waited until updated because with any new plugin there is always bugs to work out. I love the concept of this plug in, so I uploaded this morning and installed and boom not even 10 min in I start having crashes 3 times in a row before I installed I could run for as long as 3 hiurs with no problems Im adding log hopefully you can help with a solution

I'm really sorry that keeps happening. Here is what I am wondering, when the game crashes does it popup an error saying "Failed to load *stuff*" and you have to force close GTA? I have been getting this error a lot without any LSPDFR plugins since GTA had a minor patch. When I look at your log there is no errors at all from anything, it just ends. The same way mine did. For me I got the issue with or without plugins so I think it might go back to Rage or something. I'll do some research. If you have any more crashes please feel free to PM me all your logs.

I got the failed to initialize pop up once but other than that no, it only crashes when I have this plug in loaded which sucks cause I really like this and the concept of ambient stuff happening around, and please dont think im trying to downplay your plugin at all I think you do great work and always quick to respond and help with a problem If its a compatability issue maybe it can be fixed im hoping I will reinstall and try to log all pop ups and logs at each crash and hopefully it can be resolved with me being able to use this

I appreciate you helping me. I'm struggling to find the issue because now it's not crashing on my end. I set my event timer to 1 second so they spawn one after another.

Glad to hear, makes me wonder if there is something else causing the crashes. I've seen YouTubers who don't use my Events complain about a lot of crashes recently.
