Simple CarHUD 4.0.0

First of all, thanks for checking it out! 😄

**Note** At this time, I've tried many times to update it, even to the point of trying to compile a kph version and bundle it with an mph version as well.  But with RPH being very difficult to download (site always seems to be down and therefore I can't get latest SDK), I'm going to abandon this project.  I want to thank everyone for downloading and trying this project, as it means a lot to me.  As far as I know, it works always at MPH, but KPH option doesn't work, even though the code does check the ini for options.

This is a very simple speedometer that puts your speed down in the bottom center of the screen.  It will only work if you are in a vehicle, so not while on foot.  This is my first RPH plugin ever.  Most of the stuff I've done revolved around FiveM, so the disciplines sorta work both ways as the methods are similar.

There is an ini file included.  Only one option, but more in the future.

I'm sure there are other types of this out there, but honestly, most are either really outdated, or didn't have features I could control.

Future Plans

I would like to tie it into an ALPR/ANPR type program with possibly some Interaction+ integration.  Also want to make it all pretty and streamlined so it doesn't look like a hot mess at the bottom of the screen.

Version History

4.0.0.0  -- This one

3.0.0.0 -- Revamped some code to stream line it

2.0.0.0 -- Honestly?  Broken code.  Didn't work 😛

1.0.0.0 -- Had LSPDFR hooked, but didn't need it (Not Yet anyway).  Derp!

Abandoning project, however leaving it up as it still works for imperial, just not metric.

@HiFiMasteR Just a tease... Not only did I get it work with the config, but now I'm also adding a working hud and possibly adding a few other features.  As you can see, it's not in the subtitle section of the screen anymore.  And you'll be able to position it, and it'll save those coords in the ini file as well.  🙂  Thanks for helping me to revisit this long overlooked project of mine. 😄❤️

Deixe-me verificar o código e eu voltarei com você. Eu posso ter codificado por engano para MPH. Obrigado por trazer isso à minha atenção!

I am waiting for this correction. Your mod allows me to drop the menyoo haha, particularly I am not adept at trainer. 🙂

Awesome!  I have some time coming this weekend so I'll be picking up on neglected projects like this one then.

And even more awesome that you prefer something like this over a trainer! 😄

Impressionante! Eu tenho algum tempo a chegar neste fim de semana, então eu vou pegar projetos negligenciados como este então.

E ainda mais impressionante que você prefere algo como um treinador! 😄

I just got tired of playing GTA with all the resources of a trainer, I just want to include small help functions to improve the gameplay without exaggeration. And I love this cop life, I basically use a speedometer trainer and improve my vehicle. I have not yet learned to program. 😂

Yeah I too think having a trainer is ... cheaty.  😄  So I'll work on it some more this weekend.

No.  You can change it to KPH or kph in the CarHUD.ini file.

Will do.  I'll check for that.  Thanks for the heads up!

When I get a chance, I'll look at the code again.  Next couple of days.  Honestly thought I fixed that...

how can i edit the word size

It uses the in game caption display.  I don't know if there's a setting to change that size, as it's probably hard coded there as such.

I'll have another look at it.  Might be something I have hard coded.
