Automatic Plate Reader Script v2.0

(62 reviews)

3 Screenshots

This script automatically "scans" passing vehicles and tells you if there are any markers on them.

The script is entirely random and separate from any databases, so you get a variety of plates and flags.

By default, about 24% of cars on the road will trigger a flag. Like an actual APR system it is up to you to investigate APR activations in detail.

KNOWN BUGS:

- Hits may occur on exempted vehicles if they have been modded and the vehicles.ide file changed.

V2.0 is a thorough overhaul/rewrite; while lots of testing has been done, feel free to PM me if you encounter any other bugs or stability issues.

What's New in Version v2.0

Released

  • - Thorough code overhaul
  • - Fixed the bug of new plates being generated for already scanned cars.
  • - Added Canada to available countries
  • - Added boats and helicopters to exempt list
  • - Added vanity plates (currently will only appear 2% of the time)
  • - Increased chance of "beater" cars being marked unroadworthy for greater realism
  • - More options added to the .ini

Where do you instal the mod exactly? Like, I understand you have to go through the GTAIV path but I was just wondering where after that, or if I just drop it in there. I'm really new to this so I appreciate the help.
