  1. ...how do you make a screenshot to show off a script?

    WHAT IS THIS?
This mod is designed partially address the taxi bug, and partially to diversify traffic around Liberty City slightly.

    HOW DOES IT DO THAT?
In its simplest terms, it spawns cars. Unlikely most traffic "fixes" though this script is geared towards public service, construction, delivery vehicles, and some emergency service vehicles including those that don't normally spawn in traffic such as the Bus and Limo, as well as added vehicles. This script pack allows you to set what vehicles you want spawning, how often, and who's driving/riding in them.

Every now and then, you might even see a fire truck go by with its lights and sirens on...

    WHAT ABOUT REGULAR CARS?
    These scripts aren't for that.

    BUT WHY?
    Because I said so.

    SERIOUSLY?
Ok, if you're really concerned about regular traffic, this is meant to work with Sam's Use Traffic Flow for cars, use this for bigger vehicles. As for emergency vehicles, that's in the works in the future.

I BET IT'S FULL OF BUGS AND STUFF THAT'LL MAKE THE GAME CRASH EVERY 5 SECONDS
It really shouldn't. That said, known issues:
    - When vehicles are set to spawn far away they may end up not spawning at all
    - Vehicles may spawn in places they were not meant to/get stuck in. Blame the AI's bad driving.
    - Messing up the settings file may result in the script not working, though I doubt that should be surprising to anyone.
    - Once loaded into memory vehicles may continue to spawn outside of the script with the wrong driver/passengers.

This is a mostly BETA release, so if you do find something else wrong let me know. Or don't, if you don't want me to fix it/care.

  2. This is a set of skins for modded default cars based on Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit police cars. Included are:

    Annis Pinnacle (x2)
    Bravado Buffalo
    Declasse Merit
    Dundreary Landstalker
    Inverto Coquette
    Karin Sultan (x2)
    V-style Declasse Granger
    V-style Vapid Stanier
    V-style Vapid Interceptor (x2)
    Police Bike
    Vapid Speedo

These work best with Lt.Caine's models, such as:

    ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>
    ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>
    ...plus Bxbug's Police Bike
...plus Harper's Coquette (though technically this skin didn't come from NFS:HP exactly... )
    ...plus ThatOneHick's Merit and Speedo
...and of course they'll also work with anything else that use the same template.

For those new to texture replacement, check out this handy tutorial.

  3. You know those cops around the city armed with M4s guarding important thingies? This mod lets you choose what outfit they're wearing and what weapon they wield. Works best with Custo/F5544's cop mods so they can walk around in body armour and stuff.

  4. This script automatically "scans" passing vehicles and tells you if there are any markers on them.

The script is entirely random and separate from any databases, so you get a variety of plates and flags.

By default, about 24% of cars on the road will trigger a flag. Like an actual APR system it is up to you to investigate APR activations in detail.

    KNOWN BUGS:
    - Hits may occur on exempted vehicles if they have been modded and the vehicles.ide file changed.
V2.0 is a thorough overhaul/rewrite; while lots of testing has been done, feel free to PM me if you encounter any other bugs or stability issues.

  5. Ever wanted a slightly more realistic female cop in the game?
    Known Issues:
    - No police dialogues, just generic ones (won't be fixed until someone cracks speech.rpf...)
    - Uniform top shadows are a bit flat, will work on that and a short-sleeved version in the future.
    - No hats at the moment

  7. This is a simple mod that strobes the indicators and headlights.

Strobes can be set to be automatically turned on with the siren, or manually toggled. In manual mode they can be used with any car.

  8. Because...why not?

There are two versions of this mod which are both included in the download:
    - v0.7.1 replaces the male fat cops with a female model created through a mix of original GTA4 meshes, custom meshes, and custom textures.
    - v0.7.2 adds the female fat cops as an entirely new model. OpenIV is required to install this version; SparkIV will not work.

    Female fat cops feature:
    - 2 different heads with a several textures each, jacket top with sergeant option, cap and sunglasses.

    Known Issues:
    - No police dialogues, unfortunately. Nothing I can do about that until speech.rpf is cracked...

Please read the ReadMe and version install instructions before installing!
