Security+ Beta 1.2

ATTENTION!

This mod is no longer in active development!

Development of this mod has been taken over here

What does this mean? Well, simply put, I can no longer handle it. School and work has to take priority, and I just don't have the time for it anymore. I'm very sorry to those of you who were looking forward to new updates, bugfixes, your suggestions and more. I wanted to say thank you to everyone for your incredible amounts of support along the journey of this plugin.

I first submitted this over 3 years ago, way back in 2019, as just a couple of vaguely security related callouts. Since then, nearly 50,000 people have downloaded it. I can't even picture that many people in my mind, it truly blows me away, so thank you.

For anyone interested, I've decided to open-source the entirety of Beta 1.2, along with all unreleased WIP Beta 1.3 code here on GitHub. It's a GPL license, so go crazy. Unfortunately I no longer have the original code for the older versions, but if you really need them for some reason you can always just decompile them, as they're all still available here as .dll files. Thank you all again for your support over the years, and happy modding.

Security+ is now in Beta!

After a very long wait (sorry haha) the major update is finally here.

I won't spoil too much, but some of the new features include:

    - A brand new code base for maximum optimization

    - Remastered or Remade all existing callouts!

    - Now supporting 50 locations across San Andreas!

    - 36 Unique security scenarios!

    - A custom security dispatcher!

    - And much more

I've done my best to remove all existing bugs, and everything should work smoothly, however, if you find a bug please don't hesitate to leave a comment or send me a message 🙂

Hey! Struggling to figure out how to install the car. Any advice you could shoot my way? Sorry I'm new to all this

No worries! Could you describe the problem and what's going wrong? Are you getting an error? Please include any screenshots of errors that you think could help me solve your problem 🙂

Hmm. A bit embarrassed, but I'm not getting an error- I just don't know if I should rename the cars and replace the default ones, or if they're add ons and how to install them. So sorry for doing this but I couldn't find any info online.

Yes sir. It’s the files in the not for you folder I’m having trouble with.

Well if you follow the installation tutorial everything should be working just fine. The Not for You folder is simply a backup in case anything goes wrong, you don't need them to install the mod 🙂

That's odd and I'll try to fix it up for the next update, but if you load into the game the lights should still work fine.

Thanks very much for your support. I can't take credit for the models themselves though. 🙂

This mod looks great, and seems to make a bit of a difference, in order to vary the repetitive missions of LSPDFR a little! 😀
I am French and in France we like this kind of initiative.
But I have a question, is it compatible with the latest version LSPDFR 0.4.7?
Are you still doing the work and developing this awesome mod?
Thank you

It has not been updated for 0.4.7 yet, and yes I am still developing it. Thank you very much for your feedback, it is much appreciated 🙂

are the cars an absolute requirement? i use lore friendly cars so i'm fine with just having the vanilla Dilettante security car.  i'm just curious if any of those cars show up in a callout it'd be weird if it was missing or could cause a crash

The cars are not required, they are only needed if you use the ultimate backup integration, otherwise you're fine without them 🙂

Hi! Thank you for your comment, this is not a bug in the code, but rather intentional. At the moment there are very few callouts working in the city, and the mod is mostly designed for Blaine County. I am working on adding city callouts but this will still take some time 🙂

Please fix the locations and add more callouts!
