What does this plugin do? This plugin adds a realistic body cam overlay and also plays the sound every 90 seconds (by default, can be configured).

Customization.png.cad1aaac9b9240a9e575f3907b99170f.png

You can change:

  • The time between the beeps
  • The serial number in the overlay
  • The model text in the overlay
  • The logo and sound
  • A manual toggle key to activate/deactivate the overlay
  • The general overlay scale
  • The date
  • If it works in every view or first person only

Installation.png.3f885cf7218a01b32d1df54f4c3ea7dc.png

Installation:

1. Copy the files from the .zip into your Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\ folder.
2. Check the .ini file in Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ and adjust the settings and keybinds to your liking.
3. Load the plugin via the RAGE Plugin Hook settings or ingame via the console and enjoy 🙂

How to use the custom logo/sound:

Logo: Place a .png with the logo of your choice (and preferably transparent background) in the Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ folder and name the file "custom.png".
Sound: Place a .wav file with the sound of your choice in the Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ folder and name the file "custom.wav".

Don't go too crazy with the logo/sound files and keep them as small as possible in terms of file size. Larger sizes might cause issues/crashes.

That is the only way to use it lol. It's a RPH plugin after all.

Following up on my previous suggestion-

Any possibility to add the shutdown tone when recording stops, as well as the tone when the camera is re-activated? Seems to not play unless I wait a while

Hey. Sadly the plugin is now crashing for me aswell. After crashing, it causes massive frame loss. I can reload it, but will crash straight away. So a full gta restart is needed. Been using it for a very long time, but just started causing issues for myself.

Yeah I don't have it loading on startup so I load it manually. It crashes immediately and causes frame loss until I restart the game.

I have also been having the exact same issues described above as of the last 3 or so days. I have been using this Bodycam mod for some months now with no previous issues. I am curious if GTA5 or the launcher went through an update that is causing this to break.

I propose my idea, add a blurred image from 1 person, as in this image (about the same) and yes, this is a photo from the GTA 6 trailer. But to make it not just so blurry, but more qualitative

Could contain: text, screenshot, dance, black, person

Но сделать не настолько размыто а немного качественней

Just lower your graphics and you'll get that blurry image 😂

Hey man, seeing all these people linking gta vi trailer screenshots, could you make a version that resembles the one in the trailer? I love Lore Friendly stuff
