Basic Callouts (Trespassing, 911 Abuse, Assault with Firearm...) 2.1.1.0

(12 reviews)

1 Screenshot

This callout pack aims to bring more realism in terms of what police officers deal with on a daily basis; it's not always just shootouts and police pursuits, but rather incidents such as people acting suspiciously, and investigating people's actions.

Feel free to edit the .ini file to configure what callouts you want the game to spawn.

Overall, I hope you enjoy, and please leave a comment/review saying your opinion about any feature, and what needs to be improved/added. I'm trying to base callouts off of ones that haven't been added by other callout packs from my own knowledge, and if there are any that are similar, I will try and vary the context and the outcome to make it more diverse.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank-you for downloading!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These plugins will provide a more realistic experience when using this callout pack:

Police Smart Radio - Albo1125

Search Warrant - darkmyre

Stop The PedBejoljo

Computer+ (for arrest reports etc.) - PieRGud

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CALLOUTS:

===========

Currently, there are eight callouts available as of v2.1.0.0:

Shoplifting (Clothing Store)Asses the situation, and arrest the suspect if they are in possession of stolen items.

Suspicious Ammunition PurchaseA person is attempting to buy a large amount of ammunition - further information available when on-scene.

Objects On The RoadwayClear the objects that are holding up vehicles to prevent any accidents occuring.

Suspicious PersonUnknown person who has been reported to be acting in a suspicious manner. Take precautions as you don't know what they have on them!

Assault with a Firearm Get to the scene of this one quick, and attempt to take down the shooter. (Multiple callout locations - more coming).

Abuse Of 911 Someone is wasting the emergency service's time by repeatedly phoning 911 when they don't need it. Investigate their phone to see if they have any recent logs or not.

TrespassingSomeone is on land that they shouldn't, whether it be residential land or commercial, or even military.

Vehicle ExplosionA fire or unknown event has caused a vehicle to explode.

Also, lots of credit to LtFlash for making the plugin CoordSaverV, as it was massively helpful in being able to determine spawn locations for these callouts.

Contains a .ini file to customise what callouts you receive in-game.

Did I do anything wrong?!

I got the callout 'Abandoned Vehicle On Road' but when I arrive the mini map turns into a 'window of weird red ... things...'. I can't really describe it and I can't upload a pic of it either. (Some problem with the website I guess) The mini map and also the map are not readable anymore. The mini map flickers and you can only see one or two blips.

Is it something I did wrong or is it your callout pack?

Right, I had that before whilst testing - I think other people say its a looping thing, but that particular callout doesn't have any loops. This is a rare bug as it hasn't happened to me since so if you get it again, please send me your Rage log and/or GTA log so that I can see what it is.

No one else has yet mentioned this bug, but as I said it did happen to me and I can't really investigate it again unless it happens to me again.

Next time it happens, please restart your game and it should be gone.

So it's a 'one time thing'?

'cause what do you mean with 'restart your game and it should be gone'? Of course it's gone when I end the game, but why wouldn't this happen again?

Anyway, if I get this issue again I'll send you my log.

Thanks for your help

That bug just happened to me. When I clicked on the map it said that there is 956 vehicle markers in that spot. Dont know if that helps.

From what kilroy95 said, I reckon it's a bug where the plugin creates loads of vehicle markers and that uses up loads of RAM etc, so I will need to investigate that and try and recreate it.

Please do send me your logs if that happens again as you said.

One more thing; any way you could change "end callout" from 'x' to 'end'? As 'x' instantly generates another callout 🙂

Changed to the "end" key as of 2.0.1.0.

Is there a chance to see more callout details in Computer+? Something as simple as the description of the trespassing ped would be nice.

Oooooh! Before I forget! Might I make a suggestion for a "Post - Burglary" callout? I remember this from LCPDFR (GTAIV). Somone's home had been broken into, and you were simply there to make a report. You could take the victim to the station for questioning, and on occasion they would know who the suspect was, and you could go find them. Great callout pack either way techgamer15 🙂

I was looking for more callouts thanks so much and Ill definitely put that on the list as it sounds like it's fun. Thanks dude.

Ah yes, Computer+ integration is having me literally confused as there is a tutorial on the wiki for integrating it into callouts, but after adding the Computer+.dll as a reference, I get syntax errors relating to certain functions.

I will try my absolute best to add this becuase It has actually been one of the first things I was gonna add as an update, as it really helps when on scene and you haven't a clue what you're doing lol.

I'm not saying your callout pack is shit it sounds like fun, but when I had it installed any time I would take one of your calls the above happened and another instance the map just wouldn't load. (worked fine until I hit 'y' and drove to said call then the stated things happened) and its def not my computer.

Callout suggestions bellow

If your looking for more callouts and this rare bug gets resolved could you add 911 hand up, kids playing in street, unruly neighbors ie: in an apartment building or suburb, lane closure for stop light repair, hotel/motel having people disrupt business. Just watch LivePD and you should be able to round up a bunch of "boring" calls. I love slow calls more than shoot outs every minute.

To be fair, he has updated the pack quite a bit. It sucked when it came out but it's a solid callout pack now. It's nice to have something new and "basic". Download the updated version and give it a try.

Whenever you get around to it, thanks for at least listening to us! You're the only person in the last few weeks who has released a callout pack that wasn't something a 12 year old scraped together. I think you're doing a solid job and I look forward to seeing future updates.

Just installed version 2.0.1.0 and you have a bug that ruins the mini map and just makes it look bad. If you can fix that and release a new version I will give you 5 stars.  It happened during Abandoned Car, and continued into Suspicious Person. I Kicked off a New Mini Series with these callouts, the first episode will be released soon. If it happens during the second episode I will have to discontinue the mini series as there's o telling what else that bug could be affecting.

EDIT:I've removed the callout for now, as it will need to be re-written. This is becuase it's one of the first I wrote and I can't seem to work out why the looping bug is happening. Also the blips weren't dissapearing for some reason, so I will be implementing it back when it is done.

I'm not sure thats the callouts, becuase when you press End the callout finishes. Also when you cuff them the callout should end anyway.

Love the callouts...

But a suggestion here, maybe also 'bind' your awesome mod to

search mod as well?

Do you mean bind it like it is to SearchWarrant? If so, good idea.

Yeah, integration stuff!

Awesome though

For Vehicle Explosion callout, markers for vehicle and witness are not disappearing once 'Code 4' and are darting around to random objects on the map once the two objects de-spawn.

I'll look into that, thank you for finding that bug.

Hi there! So I have a general question related to vehicles (FBI, FBI2, and Police4) spawning in during other callouts and causing a mess not only for my RP but also lingering after a call and driving straight into walls or traffic. Is this related to your mod? I never had those vehicle spawning prior to installing this plugin and I was wondering if there was a way to prevent them from spawning all together.

Otherwise its a great plugin and would recommend, very low impact on performance when they trigger (other than these vehicles hogging memory because they don't seem to go away)

Any and all help is welcome.

Will this be updated for 0.4, or does it already work with 0.4? Looks like some cool callouts and I'd like to use them.

I'd like to know it as well. These are the exact type of callouts I want so maybe I install it and see if it works.

I've been testing this mod with the Code 3 Callouts pack alongside various other scripts on version 0.4.1. Here's what I've noticed.

1.) When I use "Stop the Ped" to arrest a suspect, a message sometimes pops up saying that the suspect is dead, and the callout ends. The suspect is still alive though so it hardly matters.

2.) I was unable to tow the exploded vehicle away during the "Vehicle Explosion" callout. Neither the "Police Smart Radio" nor "Stop the Ped" work. I'm unsure if it's a glitch or if it's by intended design.

3.) The "Objects on the Roadway" callout has a tendency to spawn a bench in the middle of the road with two peds sat upon it. A bit immersion breaking.

These hiccups are minor. The mod is functional on 0.4.1, and unlike other older callout packs, hasn't crashed LSPDFR.
