Overview
Sergeant offers functionalities that give the player more 'middle management' command over the world (hence its name).

Features
- Command Vehicles (See video HERE!!!) : Give commands to individual vehicles, including "Stop", "Go and Stop" and "Go and Drive".

- Secure Scene (See video HERE!!!) : Don't you hate being left all by yourself to deal with crime scenes? Not anymore. When you give the order to "Secure Scene," all traffic in the surrounding area will immediately stop. Any cop in the vicinity will either tend to the bodies, guard suspects, or roam the area doing stuff. If there are no cops around, or not enough, you can always call for backup as you normally would, and any cop arriving at the scene will get an assignment (unless there are already enough cops assigned - you won't have 100 cops around just for 1 suspect). Once you have set up your cones and barriers (like with Traffic Policer), you can order all traffic to move again while the "scene" is still in place.

All features are fully configurable from the included INI file.

NOTE: if you press "C" and nothing happens it means that your requirements are not properly installed

Unzip to your MAIN GTA V FOLDER, maintaining the folder structure in the ZIP file.

Planned Features
- Recruit and give orders to cops.

- Give orders to pedestrians.

Known issues
- When corpses are close to vehicles, cops occasionally try to get under the vehicles, causing them to fly in the air.

Mod compatibility
- This mod may conflict with certain aspects of other mods. Nothing too serious that I know of (e.g., vehicles actively handled by other mods that are ordered to stop by this mod may not keep driving when ordered to do so later, or cops may refuse to secure a scene if they are doing stuff requested by other mods).

What's New in Version 0.7

- FEATURE: Cops will now get scene assignments even if they are in a vehicle (they'll stop and get out)
- FEATURE: When securing a scene, roaming cops will be reassigned to any new corpse/arrestee that is detected
- FIX: Cops now respond to hostilities while securing a scene if attacker is inside the scene radius
- FIX: Cops now correctly face corpses
- FIX: (hopefully) When on/under bridges/trees/slopes, cops securing a scene no longer go to the wrong "height" or start continuously falling or getting swollen by the ground.

Finally Figured it all out.

So yes "make peds calm again" does overide sergeant mod. installed "keep calm" but it keeps crashing my LSPDFR Plugin.

So I have "make peds calm again installed and found in the .ini file that "make peds calm again" can be toggled on of. so just check the keys to press in the .ini file and simply toggle "make peds calm again" off when you want to use sergeant mod and switch it back on after.

Love thie plugin. Great work

I have all the dependencies installed per the list and they are in the gta v root folder and in the plugins in folder. Ive double checked. It shows sergeant commands added when I go on duty and when I press C nothing happens. I also tried to hit insert like suggested and nothing happens. Truly confused.... please help!

Hi so I'm not sure what's going on. At first it worked okay. Whenever I would secure the scene the backup officers would do their "job" correctly. They would be taking notes or calling people and just general duties. But recently whenever I secure a scene the police officers will just stand where they are and they won't move at all. They are just frozen in place. Also the move and go command has never properly worked. I'll tell a vehicle to move and go to a certain location and they will but then they'll just stop there and won't continue driving. And yes I'm using the right command (not the move and stop). Also, I think this plugin is causing my game to crash. Whenever I issue multiple commands after a while my game will just crash. Do you know of any plugins that this mod is not compatible with? Thanks.

Definitely just crashes on startup

EDIT: seems to be working correctly after PC reboot.

When the game has loaded, try pressing 'Insert' - It re-loads the scripts, then try C again.

This is on purpose. Notice that the only key that is different is the one that opens the menu. In this way, you can use the same keys to scroll in Sergeant and PoliceSmartRadio by opening one or the other - no need to remember new keys. As long as you don't open both at the same time, of course. If you really don't like it, you can always change the keys, as @SpickitySpock said.

The whole idea is to be able to give specific commands to specific vehicles, not just the one that happens to be close to you. That will change if I ever see a cop directing traffic by shouting "whoever is closest to me, pull over! No, not you. Wait, I'll move closer to your car so I can tell you to pull over!"

When I press C and then push Z on a car, push "Go and Drive" with Z, and then push Z again to tell them to go to that location, they don't move the car. Any ideas on a fix?

@rw18 IDK why, but when I give command to secure the scene, EMS (thru Better EMS Mod) will dispatch and I have always to cancel it.

Conflicting key binds probably. Better EMS has a hotkey, don't remember the default.

It has, but different ones. I checked that, just to be absolutely sure, the're different.

Dear friend....

Can you help me?

I did the whole installation correctly, I already uninstalled it and installed it again, I did everything 100% correct, but even when I'm on duty I press "C" and nothing happens.
I do not know what else to do to work properly, when I press the C key, only the smart radio appears, but the sergeant does not start.

Note that when I go into service, it appears that the sergeant was loaded successfully

Please, you could help me?

Love this mode, and it works well with on scene backup... but I am missing the menu, and the images behind the commands... I only read the worded commands below the flickering images. help if possible.

Basically

cpu - AMD A10-7800 12 cores ~ 3.5hz

RAM 8 gbs

AMD Radeon 290 x ~4 gbs Vram but Estimate total = 7

low fps though when running, sometimes 30 sometimes 20, but I will be upgrading my RAM in a month's to 16 gbs ill look for a good screen shot of the fps

Well I have the same issue when my fps is low. Maybe that's the reason
