I RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THE FILE WHERE IT ALLOWS YOUR POLICEOLD TO BE USED AS A REGULAR POLICE VEH. :thumbsup:

 

MRKD & UNM Vehicles are now seperate Files 

( I changed this because i felt it was a better move )

 

- Fixed a few minor issues. 

( Issue where the dials are not shown is still a problem and im trying to find a work around for it, bare with me guys :sweat: )

(it caused a few problems i wasnt able to work out )

  Does it have to be on different setting than siren setting 1. I also have blue and red blinking on the hood in first stage ELS and nothing toward the back windshield.

Yes I did I had to rename the police name and  vehicle meta stayed the same for police4

Do the lights only turn on for stage 3? If so, would you be willing to let us have the ability to have the rear Cuda's alternate amber for stage 2 or by hitting 'K'?

its meant to come on only for stage 3.

@xXlongshot45Xx I really appreciate that you used the coronas for lighting at a distance, but you seem to have the colors flipped for both the front red/blue and the rear blue/amber.

hey so I think when you exported the YTF u missed out the main LOD as whenever I spawn it sometimes it spawns in LOD 0 LOD 1 which makes the rear dash lights disappear any chance you can fix this i love using this alongside canes caprice as well.

Just started using your vehicle: looks good but the lighting seems to be a little off. Everything that is in front of me lights up in amber and blue for example even though the lights themself are red and blue. Maybe you could fix the lighting problems if you have time.

And yes, I am using the xml file :tongue:

Well, i don't know why you changed the base model, because i think the one you've chosen now is pretty bad.

Anyway you shouldn't use the primary lights as rear deck lights because it flashes amber/blue to the front instead to the rear.

And the front strobes doesn't flash toe the sides of the headlights, they flash between the grill and the headlight.

If you fix the environmental light issue and the position of the strobes this will be a great model.

Where can I get the unmarked livery? If there is supposed to be one I can't change the livery to it.

The texture with nothing at all is the unmarked livery, and you may need to edit the vehicle.meta file if you had edited the original one before to get multiple colors.

Also, make sure that you have "FLAG_HAS_LIVERY" in your flag line so that the game uses the unmarked livery. This problem should not exist if you have not edited the .meta file before. Hope you can solve the problem:smile:

So glad to see the update where most of the flaws have been eliminated, and I really appreciate your taking my previous advice into account:tongue:. Yet I'm afraid that the taillight model is still not accurate. I believe the taillight for the 06-11 models does not have the blinking red strip at the bottom for the turning indicators.

Instead, they alter the brightness of the entire taillight bulb for indication, like the one below (many thanks to Izick's perfect model:tongue:).

Actually, I think those strips do exist, but they only glitter when Stage 3 of the siren is turned on, from what I saw from Youtube. I'm not sure, just a suggestion.

 

Also, from the screenshots, it is rather obvious that the transparency of the "lampshade" (Or "glass cover"? IDK what it's called:mellow: Sorry for my bad English:tongue:) on the taillights are too high in comparison with latter model, especially when the rear is exposed to direct sunlight (it is almost completely transparent:sweat:, and the problem also exists for the reverse lights, just less obvious). I guess the latter one is more realistic. I think it is a problem of the base model, but I know little about modeling and  I'm not sure whether this can be fixed. Maybe do your best?:teehee:

 

BTW, the frame on the rear license plate is REALLY weird, and I would suggest removing it since I have never seen an unmarked unit with the frame installed and this pack aims for accuracy, I suppose:smile:.

 

Looking forward to the next update with working dials, as you've mentioned. I can't wait for the fantastic first-person view :smile:. I guess I will rate this pack 5/5 for the next update, and I think I'm gonna leave only one word in my review--"Flawless" :thumbsup:.

thanks for your honest review ! :thumbsup:  yes the strips do exist on the car but i havent found a way to make them strobe on lightstage 3 a work around is in play right now and as of the wierd plate frame i cannot change due to it being made with the model. :wink:
