Welcome to the release of my first plugin!!!

Just drag the "Plugins" folder located in my download, into your Grand Theft Auto V Root Directory (Main GTAV Folder!)

This Folder will be found in either:

Steam Version - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\..

Retail Version/All Other - C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\...

I got this idea after helping a trooper here in FL on a hit and run I caught on my dash cameras, I asked what that beep was, duh... the lights on notification dummy!

When the ***ACTUAL GTAV "SIREN"** is activated, the light controller will start letting you know periodically, with a single beep, if the lights are on.

FOR BEST RESULT, use this plugin to know when traffic will actually freak out if the siren is on/ use for first person.

You can turn down the sample "beep" in audacity if you please.

I highly recommend setting ELS vehicles to activate siren at stage 1 or 2, if you want this plugin to activate any time ELS lights are on. There is no way for my plugin to sense ELS lights status, only GTAv lights status.

Based on Code 3 RLS beep tone.

Updated the plugin so the beep is on the other side of the 20 second timer.

Fixed bug where beep happened while just casually driving (lol sorry)

Sorry I took a while to make this simple fix. Don't have time for very much, right now.

No sir. That is an entirely different plugin, rather. I do highly recommend that plugin.

My plugin allows you to know when the siren is on, in first person, by playing a single (editable) tone. It is very useful.

The radio chatter you may have heard in my sample video, may just be what I have in my game. I just wanted to sample how it turned on if the lights were on.

Really?? hahaha I thought people would be like " hey noob turn this shit down". I will raise the volume in the next release, but it takes a second to do yourself. Go snag audacity from their free download, and import the audio into audacity. Then change the volume db on the left, the export as WAV, overwriting my current "beep" file.

Good thinking. What you can do is make alternatives. This one is called original and then 10% more, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% more. They can decide what works best or maybe built in a volume adjuster like sirenmastery. So you can up the volume trough ini or in-game.

Nevertheless, great fucking mod !! Such minor attention to details make this experience come more to live !! Keep it up.

This mod does not alter the use of Els vehicles. This simply adds a small beep whenever you have your gta lights activated. Please read the description in full. :)

Hello. Love this mod! I was just wondering, is there ANY way to decrease the length between tones? I'm wanting to do the traditional whelen controller tone. I have the beep which I've replaced the tone with but its just too long in between. Thanks in advance.

Is anyone else having an issue with this plugin since the latest update? This appears to be one mod that I get CTD before the game even loads.

I would NOT recommend using this mod. It hasn't been updated in 5 years and causes CTDs for me too

It was working fine for me (for a while). It looks like an issue with newer GTA 5 or LSPDFR versions. It crashes if I get killed and my car respawns at the hospital. Looks like it needs additional checks to see if the car still exists in the game world 😕
