Police SmartRadio - The Successor to Police Radio! 1.2.0.0

Hello, So I am having a problem with Police Smart Radio, when I load into the game, everything starts fine and the game does not crash. However, Police Smart Radio does not work when I press the buttons to use it. I looked in the RageHook console and it just says "PoliceSmartRadio is not done setting up... adding to queue" repeatedly and never finishes setting up.  Ive tried installing different versions of the plugin, updating Albo1125.common, and trying different versions of the plugins suggested with Police Smart Radio, all to no avail. If you know what im doing wrong, please let me know.

Found solution to the problem on page 17 of the comments. It was the updated PeterUCallouts that caused the problem. Thanks to FrenZie v2  for commenting the solution.

Getting message "Police SmartRadio detected Traffic Policer version lower than 6.13.6.0"   Although I am running Traffic Policer version 6.13.7.0.   Do I need to wait for Police SmartRadio to be updated to work with the newer version of TP, or is there a work around ?

if you installed thew new peteru callouts update, it conflicts with smart radio

I don't have the Peteru callouts installed at all, but I have the same issue.  Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I'm only running Albo's mods, Computer+, and better backup in addition to EUP and ELS.

I've included some relevant logs and screenshots of the Plugins and Plugins\LSPDFR folders. (Note: I uninstalled Albo's callouts .dll just in case)

Hi Albo and All! The smart radio and the British Policing Script just do not work with me. Will this be a solution?

Can anyone help? My radio says it's outdated, and it does not work.

not sure where the problem is... but the radio doesn't work.

I dont have any Peter U callouts. 

I have updated all updatable plugins (i only have like 3 or 4)

@OfficerYES  do you have discord ? 

The radio does not  work anymore, showing one time and disappear after relaunched game, C dont have any effect.

Thanks for taking the time and offering to help, I really appreciate it.  The police radio is so essential to the game I think.

When going to fix this issue we can't use Radio anymore after RPH updated!! where is the update?  If somebody fix this issue please Respond Thanks ..

Yeah, radio now showing up also for me, it makes the sounds when pressing the keys and you can select the options but the radio image is not visible

Any updates on this? Mine works on the keyboard, but not with the controller.

Edit: Randomly started working after I installed ELS.

not working, troubleshooter say the albi common dll is out of date and takes to the download page here, if you replace with that new one the game freeze after 1 second after on duty.

Hey, here's a possible solution for everybody who's experiencing the problem of the Police SmartRadio working, but being invisible.

If you:

- can hear the SmartRadio buttons responding by making a sound, but can't see the panel itself,

- are able to turn on the RageHook console (by pressing F4), yet still can't see the Radio,

- tried forcing the DirectX 11 mode and/or Windowed display mode, and it still didn't help,

- used the position and scale modifier tool, ESPECIALLY TO ALTER THE SIZE OF THE RADIO,

try doing this:

Go to your GTA5 folder>plugins>LSPDFR>PoliceSmartRadio and open a file called DisplayConfig. This is where your current SmartRadio's size and position are stored, and this file is being overwritten when you modify those aspects in-game.

Now, MAKE SURE that the value next to DisplayScalingFactor is a number containing a DOT, NOT A COMA.

I have no idea why, but after I rescaled my SmartRadio, this value turned into 0,7 for me (and IT HAS TO BE of the number.number format, so in my case it should've been 0.7). I spent hours of online researching and going through the mod files until I stumbled upon this. After I switched the coma into a dot, the SmartRadio works again like a charm - fully visible (and of the size and positioned like I wanted it to be).

TL;DR version: check the DisplayConfig file inside the mod's folder and make sure that the value next to DisplayScalingFactor includes a dot, not a coma.

Might be a long shot, but hey, it did work for me, after nothing else did, so... ;)

P.S.: It's almost a cliche at this point, but what the hell: Albo, fantastic work, thanks A LOT! :)

Ever since that update came out, my policesmartradio won't display any other buttons and I did everything right, but when I reinstall it will be running then it won't display any other menus. I'm so mad you updated it.

Behaviour update. I installed lspdfr checked it and everything worked, then traffic policer, everything ok, then arrest mgr...ok. When I install the radio after going on duty the game freezes, the lspdfr, or traffic policer notification still appear on top of the hud and new dispatches come but the game is freezed. When C is pressed the radio doesnt appear but you can hear the buttons (like changing pages with the arrows), but the game is still in Frozen style. 

Yes, runnig it windowed, borderless, the display conifg has dots not commas...HAAALP

After updating everything, Police radio is causing lspdfr to crash everytime i go on duty.  how can this be fixed?

The only buttons I can get to work are the basic ones.  Plate Check, Panic and Ped Check.  Everything else stopped working just before the update for me.

I tried removing and reinstalling Police Smart Radio as well as Arrest Manager, Traffic Policer and some call outs (all the updated versions of course).  I don't get any options to add any other buttons during the initial set up.  If I try to add them manually in the button setup file, the buttons show up in game, but if I try to use them I get an error saying they aren't assigned to do anything.

I've rechecked my installation several times and even ran the troubleshooter.  Still no luck...
