Persistent Weapon Flashlight 1.5

(20 reviews)

1 Screenshot

This plugin makes the flashlight on your weapon stay on when you're not aiming and when you're in a vehicle.
To toggle the flashlight you use the same controls as in the normal game, E on the keyboard and DPad Right on the controller, by default.

Equip weapon with flashlight attachment, or just the flashlight itself with newest version... then press E to activate the flashlight attachment/flashlight... gg

Huh, I guess something changed in the latest GTA V version(v1032), I guess that's the one you're using.

For me it works, but until I turn it on for the first time it makes that clicking sound, is that the same that's happening to you?

Yes,but it does not emit any light.

Yep, using 1032. Unfortunately, it doesn't emit any light at all with the plugin running.

Question: since there is a scripthook option, do you know if this works on 5M servers?

Unfortunately, when installing via plugin, it doesn't load. Gives me an error. When installing via ScriptHookVDotNet, my game crashes on loading.  This is either because of my game version - which is Rage .47, or something else. Oh well.

Game version, it only supports v1011, v1032 and v1103, so RPH 0.51 or higher.

I did change the flashlight and gun flash light textures - would that make a difference?

The textures shouldn't matter, which game version are you in?

I'm on an older game version (.47 of Rage).  The thing is, I have never been able to get this plugin to work.  In its previous version, if I added it to the scripts folder it'd automatically crash my game.  Added it to plugins and it'd just not work, so I figured to try it out now and see if the update fixed it for me.  However, I assume based off your comment PWF is now meant for newer Rage?

Yeah, it supports from the game version v1011 to the latest, v1180. So minimum RPH version would be 0.51.
Previous versions also needed at least v1011, so that's why they wouldn't work either.
