If you don't like the emssisive textures i've used, i've included different ones that use the "standard" ones. 

 

INSTILLATION INSTRUCTIONS
================================
-To install the vehicle models themselves, simply place them in your latest patch day in your mods folder.
I have installed the vehicles in my game to patchday10 where i have found the most success in them working.

 

-To install the vehicles meta file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5
Or the spot you put your metas in. Simply copy over this line over the existing police3 line.

 

-To install the VCF file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default
and place it in there.

 

-If you wish to install this vehicle to another slot, simply change the name of the vehicle, and change in the vehicle meta,
the handling line the slot uses to police3. 

 

PACK NOTES
=================================

- I have included separate emissive textures. Some people may not like the ones I have on so its simple to install.

 

- These vehicles are quite large in file size, so I apologize if they are very hard on your computer!

 

- This is similar to the previous vehicle I have released, but I have redone the vehicle to work with ELS.

 

- The interiors have been updated heavily, so that they reflect the real life counterparts, also featuring better looking textures.1

 

- To get the vehicle to look pretty, I recommend using the VCF that I have inculuded with the file. 

 

- If there are any questions I haven't put below, please feel free to post in the comments section! 

 

- If a few bugs with the models, which if you find, feel free to post in the comment section and ill try my best to fix them!


COMMON QUESTIONS
=================================

Q: Why aren't my lights bright?
A: You do not have light-enhancing mods installed. Download RadianceV and/or, Install my emissive bits into your visual settings,
or other mods that increase emergency lighting brightness.

 

Q: Will you please help me ins--
A: Did you read the readme? No? The installation is simple.

 

Q: I don't have Patchday10/anything else?
A: Then put the car in your latest patch day, or copy patchday10/anything else over.
 
Q: Why does my game crash after I install the car/meta/carcol?
A: I don't know, it works in my game. Make sure you have no spaces when you copied the line. 

 

Q: Will you send me ______?
A: No.

 

Q: Can I make skins for this vehicle?
A: By all means, go ahead, just dont re-upload the vehicle model itself.

 

Q: Does this vehicle use the same template as your other Utility/Other utilities.
A: Yes it does!

What's New in Version 2.0

Released

-Added brand new Base model to both slicktop and marked units.

-Lowered file size on both slightly.

-Remapped interior to be less "noisy".

-Fixed wraparound on Marked unit.

-Fixed issues with ELS flashing strangely.

-Misc other stuff that i cant remember.

-Fixed rear passenger door handle not being black.

The car is a little too big... if it was a tahoe , yes size would be okay but Ford explorers are not that big. Comparing it to the rest of GTA V world, characters, other cars, the crown vics and etc

how did you install the meta files can you possibly make a video for me ?

    I know there's no wraparound, but NPC Explorers spawn with the pushbar, while the ones I spawn with trainers/take from the police station never have the pushbar. Also the  ANPR radars on the roof and the two extra lights sometimes spawn and sometimes don't.

    you go to the folder where the meta file is located at with your OpenIV... you take the meta file out, open with NotePad... Press CTRL + F to open a search option, put "police3" into the search and search for it. And then replace the lines with the one provided in the readmea file that comes with the vehicle, save and drag it back into the folder where meta file is with your OpenIV

    nice model nice work but why release an unfinished model just to get downloads? why are you rushing to satisfy the public should release it when it's done 

    I'll give you a 1 out of 5 due to the fact that it was Rush and the model is over large

    What the fuck are you talking about rushed model? Do you realize how much work went into this model? PLEASE explain to me how this is an unfinished model. Because from what i see, the model has working lights, An HQ interior, Interior Equipment among numerious other things.

    No one is forcing you to download it. The model is WIP, it's even stated in the file page. You don't like it, you don't download it. If you have something to say, try to be constructive. The only "unfinished" thing about this is the wraparound, which is not a big deal

    How is the model over large? I mean, the file size is 8mb but if you want a realistic model, you need to have that detail. Go ahead and install some default bullshit and tell me how you like it..

    @ThehurkThe model is perfect! I like the light setup, absolutely awesome. 

    Al tho i have one problem: It still flips very fast, while i have the proper meta lines, and made sure the handling id is set to police3 it's still doing it.

    Can you please tell me how to fix this :)

    I forgot when i was creating this file that the handling lines I was using was from GTA Redux, Change the handling to gresley, It should work better.

    Strange, I have the police3 handling and I've never tipped over, not even when cornering at high speed.

    Same but I still use Semi-Realistic Vehicle Physics V, maybe that's why.

    You're still not explaining exactly how it isn't finished? Since you seem to be all high and fucking mighty, please show me exactly your "completed" vehicles. I specifically said that the file size of this vehicle is large. Its large because of the amount of detail i put into the model.  

    If you're referring to the fact that it doesn't have a wraparound, It was because I didn't have enough extras to make it an option.

    Before you start telling people they are releasing "unfinished models" why don't you go and finish one of your skin packs.

    The model is not too large
    This is a side by side comparison of a real life CVPI and FPIU

    They look identical to me. Maybe, I say maybe, the FPIU is a bit taller, but it's barely noticeable (please note that the CVPI I spawned has got lowered race suspensions)

    Well I'd think that's more deserving of maybe a 4/5 rating at the lowest? The Explorer does look a bit out of proportion, but it's nothing that can't be improved.

    here's something you can fix the wheels on the back are incorrect

    an oversized the wheels should have space in between maybe this is why people think the vehicle is so big for some people they pay attention to detail and I'm one of those people
