Want a more realistic experience while playing LSPDFR? Download this and feel more immersed in your gameplay! This adds that background chatter that will really immerse you into the role of an officer! And the best of it all? You can create as many chatter lines as you want! No limitations.

Features:

  • No external programs needed!
  • Customizable volume for the chatter!
  • It plays a random line of chatter between a custom time of  your choosing.
  • Easy to setup, just drag and drop, then play!
  • Easily create your own chatter lines!
  • 35 different chatter lines by default!

 

Setup:

The setup procedures are provided in the README.txt file.

It's really simple! In the ZIP file there's a folder called "Grand Theft Auto V", just drag the contents of this into your Grand Theft Auto V folder and you're all set!

Released

What's new in v1.1:

  • Completely rewritten the plugin to support awesome new features!
  • New audio playback engine! This is where the "NAudio.dll" comes in, it's what enables us to play the chatter with more features!
  • Volume control has now been implemented!
  • Choose the timings of the chatter yourself in the settings file!
  • Expanded options let's you customize when the chatter is played (like only in a police vehicle, on foot, in a pursuit, etc)

    Great mod. Makes it alot more realistic it would be good if i dont take a call that someone else takes it on this mod.

    Haha. Now when radio chatter is played, the console states what is played by a number. So when you hear a call that is too quiet, open up the console (default hit F4) and read the latest message by MoreRadioChatter. Then reply the number to me and I'll see what I can do about it ;)

     @ScottehBoyy It said twice in a row. Not twice in general. I would say it would be pretty hard to make them never repeat. You would basically need an infnite amount of lines.

    Actually, he changed it. It did say the same sound wouldn't play twice. However, he changed it to in a row after my review.

    Probably because common sense should prevail when reading things on here, but clearly that's not always the case and they've had to add extra detail to account for that. It's quite obvious what they meant either way.

    Common sense should prevail? There was absolutely no suggestion of him meaning twice in a row? I read that the same line wouldn't be played twice and thought that's pretty cool, then watched the video to see what the actual mod was like and noticed that what happened in the video did not match my expectation as he put in his mod description. So don't go blaming me for his lack of description. Thank you.

    for some reason this plugin worked great ,  then all of a sudden i dont get the audio like i did ,  I still hear the key up sounds but nobody talks ?  You know if a mod could cause a conflict with this ?

    just ignore my previous comment i somehow deleted the audio file under the police scanner whooooppsie daisy
