Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

I have a question , when you’re going code 3 and you hit you’re air horn does y’all lights go straight solid or is this certain packs , or is the a way to change that

Alright, so, haven't played in a long time and just got back into it. This works just fine if you spend enough time skimming through the forums to leech from wiser people. 

 

Really you only need:

  • The main ELS files (make sure you just copy paste everything from the Grand Theft Auto V folder into your Grand Theft Auto V folder. I did it manually and forgot the AdvancedHookV.dll)
  • The latest RageNativeUI which you can get from here: https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases 
    drag that into your GTA V root directory, too
  • And then the latest ScriptHookV (you need dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll not the trainer unless you want that) from http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/
    drag that into your GTA V root directory
     

After that everything worked just fine. Hopefully saved y'all a little bit of headache and trouble of having to skim through the forums to figure what the heck you did wrong. 😛

    Hello everyone. I have a problem with the advancedhookv.dll which causes my game to crash. If I remove the advancedhookv.dll file, my game loads again as usual. Anyone know a fix?

    yea idk what it is but when i turn the sirens on the audio cuts out for a sec, like my whole game audio, kinda annoying when switching between stages. anyone know how to fix?

    This plugin is so gut for lspdfr but I have a problem with Els,log. I want to see coronas while in car but Els,log blocked me I try to disable it but when I start the game Log file fix itself. I can't solve this problem how can I see coronas in car or how can I edit Ela,log. Please answer my question. Finally thanks for this plugin. It is the part of lspdfr for me

    I don't know if it is a problem with my els but when I walk away form my vehicle all the emergency lights are very dim, is there a fix?

    I have a problem with ELS after the update lspdfr did and rockstar did with the mercenaries the ELS is not working for me i have the Mega Pack of California Highway Patrol can someone help me with that issue or tell what is wrong with ELS ?

    Sorry guys new here, almost 3am, where do i find a list of documented rotator colours i can lock in during build? Like presets? Extra 1,2,3, etc both would be really helpful as i need 4x red rotator lights and 2x white rotators.

    the rest of the vehicle is planned to use LED pods, and make use of headlights etc..

    i had siren id set to 13 and made a custom vcf but think im missing something?

    hi, i installed the els mod but when i choose the crown vic police cruiser, (vanilla one) lightbars disappear, also, its the only vehicle where the els mod works on, i have only vanilla cars and the others car dont work but lightbar stays on, i tried a few things but none is working so far. i have latest update of everything. just to clarify, the lightbar disappears in all of the crown vic vehicles is not when its far, its when they spawn/choose them and it will disappear in any other crown vic cruiser.

    Will ELS ever going to get any update? the last update was in 2017 and that was like 6 years ago, going on 7.
