only thing i would like to see if possible with the game and the script would be the ablity to turn on the full light package on only the rear of the vehicle that would be pretty cool

Here's a bug I encountered: If you turn AllowController off, the controller bindings still work if you're holding down the horn button. :/

So far it only seems to be left on the dpad that changes my light stage.

I have a few issues:

1. When in a chase, if I press key 2-6 to change the siren, the driver I'm chasing just floors it and never steers the vehicle. He just keeps crashing into things moving in a straight line full throttle until his vehicle is totaled and can no longer function. If I leave the siren on '1' (default) or use a non-ELS cop car, it works fine.

2. When I press 'Q', it has the same effect as pressing 'J', yet there is no key binding for the 'Q' key in ELS.ini. Any way to prevent the mod from using the 'Q' key?

@Lt.Caine I think I see the issue now. After having read over the documentation more I see this section "ELS Siren Tones and AI Behavior" which states that if you use any other siren than #1, it will cause the AI to move forward and out of the way. However, when you are chasing someone and select any other siren sound, the vehicle you're chasing floors it in a straight line and just keeps going until it hits something, and keep repeating this process until the vehicle is dead.

Is there any way to prevent this feature from acting on the vehicle being chased? Or perhaps a way to disable it? It's rather boring using only siren #1 during a car chase.

For those having trouble with ELS where only tail lights work, I just reinstalled ELS.ini ELS.asi and AdvancedHookV.dll that came in the ELS folder. Now all the lights work again.

I can't get ELS to work and i don't think I've done anything wrong

I have all the files in my main directory and all the CVPI mod's files in right as well as the xml yet none of the els controls work in my game and i cant bring up the ELS menu thing

Are you sure you put the ELS file in the right place for example police3.xml is supposed to go into this directory: \Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default

If so then I'm not sure then maybe someone else could help ya out.

yes yes i will download cars pack with xml file for every car \ panel was open and light run but sound in panel while i press 1or 2 or 3 

he take orange but no sound seriously i am tired

Have you recently installed a new siren sound perhaps? IF you have, and the file is bigger than a certain size - all vehicle sounds will be muted.

I was having the same problem too. What I did was to place xml file in the pack_default folder as well as in the @UNUSED folder and it worked. You can also try placing the vehicle  files in your latest patchday folder.  I hope this works for you too.

Try this: when running the lights, press the down arrow button on the D-Pad on your controller (I use an Xbox One controller), It should toggle through the siren modes. Hope this works for you.

you need to go to stage 3 lighting and press G

I also cant get the ELS controls to work in game. None of the clicking noises. Lights aren't working on my vehicles either. I reinstalled ELS but nada. I'm stuck with the default siren activation with CTRL.

Did you use a els compatible car if so did you put the xml file in the ELS/pack_default folder??

I'm an idiot. Thought I had installed everything needed, but reread the install guide and realized I somehow skipped over the scripthook dll. All good now.
