Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

how do I have one siren for police and then a different one for my ambulance and firetruck

Can someone help me out? All of a sudden, all my ELS vehicles use to have lighting that worked perfectly. Now all of a sudden, the lights don't work! The tail lights do just fine blinking but the light bar on the top and all other lights don't work on all my other vehicles. And just another issue which is minor is that my sirens are extremely quiet. Can someone please help me?

My ELS works perfectly fine, however the only issue there is which i need a little explaining with is the siren.  I have SirenMastery and The US Siren Mega Pack which are both ELS compatible, but now I have 2 sirens going off at the same time.  Not sure if I missed something somewhere but I read everything over and didn't see anything about that.

    I have it fixed in  a way that seems to work for me.  Since I don't use the number pad on the right I put all the ELS siren controls on my Num pad and continue to use my Dpad to control the siren like I did before.  I changed the toggle for the siren to something else, I don't remember what now since I won't use it but use the G key as before to control the main siren.  Problem resolved for me for the most part.

    my els just stop to work. it says it loads and all my police cars is els and els found all of them and load the els in game. but non of the buttons works for els .  i can¨t find whats wrong with it. i need som help

    Alt+J or open the vehicle's els file and change the light stage activation type to auto or inverted.

    2 questions:

     

    1 - is there a way to turn on all the lights without cycling through the first two patterns on the DS4 controller?

    2 - Can anyone point me in the direction where someone explains in  depth how tp change the flash patterns?

    Wenn hier einer deutsch ist, bzw. deutsch kann, wäre schön wenn de mir das im groben deutsch erklären könntest wie genau was funktioniert...bin der englischen sprache leider nicht so mächtig

    Using this In FiveM/Reborn works great with a little script help, But is there a way to get the Other players ELS Lights to show up correctly along with there reflections?  Currently that's my only problem in Multiplayer, On there I can have a  player in front of me in same ELS police car, But I don't see his lights Flashing like Mine or His reflections. And we all have the same Carcols.ymt Files.

    I got everything working and installed the Visual Enhancing Mods as well.

     

    Now now, The brightness of the lights and glare is extremely high. I can barely see the road. Had to remove the Visual mod.

     

    Are there any settings I should change?

     

    Also, what's your preferred visual enhancing mod?

    I couldn't find a clear answer in the user guide so I thought I'd seek help here. I'm trying to make an ELS vehicle and I have more than 9 lights. I thought it'd be a good idea to combine some to flash at the same time but when I make them a joint extra, the light stops functioning completely. If you need screenshots I can provide

    How do I turn off scan mode while the siren is activated?

    Im having an issue where no lights except for the wig wags in the front and back will work. No lightbars will work, no dash lights, no nothing except for the head and tail light flashers. I know there is some other people having the issue because I put a support forum up about it and I am unsure of a fix.

    I have had a couple people  tell me to put  inverted in the activation line in ELS and I have.   The  behavior if the  lights  do not  change. I can use alt J and I get what I want, but I want to just press one key and go to code 3.  It would be nice to be able to use the controller and use the left or right stick to do that. I use the  controller to drive.

    When i use SirenMastery and an ELS enable car, i get duplicated sound of my SirenMastery sound and default GTA siren sound, anyone know how to fix this?
