You need a light brightness mod like RadianceV

Anyone going to release a realistic LAPD crown vic.  I know we have maybe two ELS versions right now, but I am sorry they are just not realistic with their lighting mixed with ELS.  I have offered to help out with the authenticity, but no one has taken me up on that.  For someone who has lived in LA for a long time and also made many LAPD cars in the past, I definitely know.  Anyone up for working with me on a perfect authentic LAPD.  I just need a ported GTA V version and I can get you guys the best.  If someone else knows of a good LAPD crown vic out there that I missed that worked perfectly with this ELS, let me know.  And no, the few on here are not even close and "Twistedscopes" refuses to go for authenticity for his version and LAPD pack.  Seems like no one cares anymore about realism.  

"Just make your own then if you know how to mod."  I knew you were going to say that, so yeah thats a great idea, I just don't have a GTA V ported model yet.  I have hundreds of parts, cars, etc. for GTA IV, but just haven't looked into how to port over yet and my time is limited to really learn all that tight now.  So I just need an unlocked ported model and I can do all the lights for ya.  Please consider it since GTA V really needs a perfect LAPD model with ELS.     

very excited about this mod but no matter what i try it wont work.

when i turn on the lights there seems to be no "corona" on the lightbar and other els lights, just a very dull change of color. 

i have very few mods, only lspdfr, els ,2011cvpi by bxbugs and makevisualsgreatagain by kompetenzz.

does anyone have any idea why i cant get this to work ?? 

tried to change the distance on the corona in the els config but that only works when im not in the car. as soon as i get in its back to no corona..

Just wondering if someone could give me some quick help. I am just starting to learn ELS but somehow I have a key binding to J that makes me exit my vehicle. When I am trying to change the Primary lights I have to get back in the vehicle every time. Any one know how to unbind the J key? I have unbound everything in the game.

Having the same issue as a lot of people. LIghtbar does not work. I've also tried every thing that's suggested and still nothing. I did see that the steady burners lights (scene light?) as well as the interior light do come on.

that is because of your car vehicle mete, 

go to your car name by hitting ctrl+f and type in your car name. then do another search at your car meta and type in diffuseTint there will be a line written like this 

<diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" /> .

if the the number in the quotation mark does not match then change it to that. this a bug from the vehicle not els

What about adding support for more sirens? Like the Granger, FBI, & PoliceB Primary & Secondary sirens?

i don't know how i have try it but there is no line that we can change the siren

Hi, so I have the most recent version and has been working grate until now, my Xbox 360 controller ELS controls on the DPad have stopped working, have reinstalled ELS and still not working.... works fine on my keyboard.... Help?

Hello. I read in the forums two other people were having the same issue. I thought I would bring it here to see if anyone else is experiencing it as well. The problem is the lights on the car and light bars do not work all of a sudden. I have re installed ELS and also re done my "mods" folder with fresh install of the cars I have been using with ELS. The siren sounds and functions work, I can hear the sounds and clicks on the buttons but light stages 1,2, and 3 do not work. What's weird is on stage 3 lights the tail lights flash and that's it. On every car I use for ELS just the tail lights flash on stage 3 other then that nothing lights up at all. I am really confused on why this is. I played perfectly fine yesterday with 0 problems then I start the game up today and ELS lights are not working.

If anyone may know a solution or is having the same please let me know

Are you sure it has nothing to do with ELS becuase, I have added Visual V and Radiance V and Improved LED lights, but they all don't seem to work in adding coronas to my LED lightbar.

scroll through the light modes until you get to the last one, it will show as SCAN

Its the one before 000. So if you're at 000, press ALT + O, ALT + I, or ALT + U to go backwards to SCAN.

Unless I'm mistaken, we can edit the VCFs to slow down a vehicle's lights.  How do we do this?

My ELS stopped working out of nowhere. no controls for it work on ANY car, no sirens, no lights. i re installed els and still nothing

siren scan button is g, it auto scrolls through sirens

What about scrolling through light scans? Someone else said the ALT U, I and O, but all that does is change the patterns.  I'd like it to scroll through the different patterns.

Also, I just went in game, my ELS is working fine.  Verif again that you have advancedhookv.dll in the main directory.
