Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released June 28, 20241 yr

Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

disabled allready, i just have some callouts and like traffic policer, arrest manager and others but they havenothing to do with els.

I cant even press ctrl+p and get a menu, i press j and no lights on

Mods folder works with or without Rage. I test my cars without Rage then proceed to load rage once I'm finished. And ELS works without Rage no problems.

I don't have siren mastery. Only some of albo's shit like traffic policer etc. LSPDFR and RPH are up to date. I didn't have AdvancedHook.dll in my game folder when i installed ELS, so i put that in their. I'll keep trying.

Didn't have it installed, or on ym computer. I had advanced hook.asi, but I guess that's different.. I'm trying reinstalling ELS and using a replacement car for the POLICE slot that is ELS compatible. Nothing works so far.

Please reinstall the script and advanced hook packages, and run program below:

You clearly have missing files, don't even know how your other mods even start.

Turns out scripthook.dll was corrupt. Ctrl+p works now, am currently testing the rest out. Cheers man.

EDIT: Yup, we're golden. I'd advise everyone whose install isn't working to make sure their script hook isn't corrupt.

Told you this has to work!!! Now start patrolling hahaha. If you you use the lines I send you yesterday. You can drive and manage your sirens and lights using Q and E without looking down.

Does this work on the normal cars that are already in the game? Also what is the default hotkey to bring up the ELS menu?

This is for ELS cars, ELS key don't interfere with non ELS cars or keymap. And I remapped the siren and lights key so I could "retain" default GTA 5 Horn/Siren key E adding Q for lights. Cause you can't activate the sirens if you not in Light Stage 3 mode in ELS. I think Ctrl-P I never use it.

Mod folders are able to work because of OpenIV. Without using that it would not be possible.

Thats one thing I love about ELS for GTAV. We can run it and still use non ELS cars together. I remember on GTA 4, it was either all ELS or none at all. lol

I do wish we could atleast turn on the stages using the controller. If nothing more than just being able to turn the lights on and off would be enough for me.

Can you plz put scroll lock in the ini so i can change the value of it since i dont have a scroll lock key on my keyboard

if this isn't the place to ask for simple help, i apologize and please delete the comment.

i installed the new 1.00 version and when i toggle the lights, the "extras" on the model flip out and become buggy. is this a conflict with versions? are there any links to older versions? if this has been answered, again, i apologize. this is my first time commenting on a mod. if it helps at all: i'm using the latest version of LSPD Pack by Captain14

EDIT: if it's not ELS causing it, does anyone have any suggestions on similar mods to the LSPD Pack to replace the ones i'm using currently? thank you ahead of time if you help me out. i'm fairly new to all of this in GTAV.

No it's the first version. Try this one and see I'm using it no problems.

Does anyone know of any known issues with els that causes horrible game lag. I've never had my game lag at all. And it doesn't of I'm on any other vehicle but an els vehicle. And anytime I hit a key that els uses (j,k,l ect) the game completely freezes then turns the lights on them goes back to normal.

if you are using els then you must els vehicle like that CVPI he showed you. Captain 14 LSPD pack is not els compatible. When you download an els vehicle you will see the diferent

Folks,

Just something I found when els has stopped working.

Following the recent RPH update i noted that my ELS had stopped working. I did the usual jazz of checking everything. I then deleted my backup game and started RPH a fresh completely. This indeed had the desired effect.

I had a further issue following a change i made myself that ELS stopped working. I again went through he same process and it worked. Why i have no idea...it may simply be coincidence i dont know.

So for anyone have issues try deleting your RPH backup and start up and then go through the RPH start up and see how you go.

Disable Ai ELS in the ELS.ini file. This mod is player eye candy at best.

I found that when ELS is installed, in game I can't add extra parts on cars. They just not working or works only 1-2. When I delete the ELS files everything works fine.
