Having the exact same issue. During pursuits, a suspect will all the sudden start fleeing like crazy, going off road and hitting stuff.

Same here, I thought it was one of the other mods installed, but I'm fairly certain it's ELS causing it.

EDIT:
I set ElsTrafCtrlOn = false in the ini file and it seems to have fixed it.  Not sure what that might be doing.

I need some fresh eyes. I've tried to get ELS to work and am not having good luck. I can get the gui(ctrl-p) to show up. I can use J to to cycle up the lights on the gui, and the patterns will change when I cycle through the sirens. But no lights will show, except the taillights which will flash. I can get the lights to show in the lspdfr vehicle chooser by going through the options, and I can even get lights to show when the CRS is active on the ELS gui. I have tried three models, all with the same result. below are my logs and attached is my gta directory and els folders.

Btw, I also have a question:
Using Bxbugs123 ELS cvpi: I can change my light patterns when my siren is off, but as soon as I turn my siren on, it goes back to the default pattern. When I turn my siren off, it goes back to my E-025 pattern. Don't know if this is a general ELS thing, or it's just with Bxbugs car, but maybe someone knows what to do?

Edit the Police.xml file and set the SrnTone to false, or pick your own patterns and it will change to that pattern depending upon your siren tone.

Are you only using the police 3 slot for an ELS vehicle?

If the answer to this is no, then you need to have an XML file for each ELS vehicle just like the police3.xml  

My suggestion is to copy that police3.xml and rename it if its the same vehicle in other slots you are attempting to use ELS.

If its a different vehicle with different vehicle config file, then use the one that vehicle comes with but rename it accordingly (police, police2 or what ever slot you're attempting to use the ELS vehicle in.

Also check your ELS.log and verify if the ELS plugin is successfully being loaded.

ELS Traffic Control is simply when you are behind a vehicle and you blare your siren at it, it moves. During pursuits and traffic stops, using a secondary horn (I think its only secondary and air horn) the vehicle in front of your will move. I do traffic stops just fine without activating my air horn or a secondary siren (I simply activate the third lightstage, and thats it. No siren or AH). As for in pursuits, as long as your main siren (Press 1) is on, they wont do anything crazy... atleast for me.

The vehicle file is in Police3 slot, I have tried the cvpi and the charger both have given me the same results. The ELS log shows good, from what I can tell, I linked it in my original post so people could look at it and see what I am missing

we need an option to disable corona patterns, other than that, pretty great.

mmmm no take downs and no steady burn as most newer police car have these feature now

I know this has been sort of answered previously but I just wanted to clear up the question:

Can we still use normal vehicles with ELS installed, or will this mod mess them up? I understand that ELS can only control vehicles made for it, but will it ruin vehicles not built for it?

How can I use the left thumb button to trigger the lights. Using the pad  is too hard for me. I know I can use the keys but I use the controller to drive.

Yes, you can use normal vehicles but it appears that ELS ruins lighting extras (switching lightbars, adding/removing grille light, dash lights etc.) on non ELS vehicles from default police Stanier to all other Bxbugs's cars. Which is bad!

i dont have a scroll lock any way to change keys ?

i have to keep press t and y for horn which it wasnt like this before 

i cant turn on the yellow warning signs

So I have been using LSPDFR for about 2 years now so when it comes to having all the bells and whistles for my GTAV officers this has not been a problem and have struggled thru every update. BUT since getting everything working again I wanted to finally use ELS. The issue is it seems to not work in game. I have tried every key command to use this mod but still nothing. I followed the instructions and put the 3 files in the root GTAV folder. 

If someone could explain this real quick that would be great.

Do you have Siren Mastery in? Also have you updated the pack_default which reflects where the vehicle located for example police / police2 etc...

I do not have Siren Mastery in. Is this the missing link? :)

I tried using the CVPI from BxBugs123 and  nothing.

It does nothing, I see no error but when I have ELS "installed" it does stop the ELS car lights from coming on at all, I do get a siren though. I have tried hitting J K or L and no bleeps (I have not messed with the config file yet) so I know these should still be on.
