After a long wait, I am proud to finally release my LSPD Pack with ELS Style Lighting! This pack now includes a total of 7 Vehicles:

police - 2016 Chevrolet Impala Limited
police2 - 2015 Dodge Charger PPV
police3 - 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Utility
police4 - 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan

Demonstration video:

These vehicles have been under development for several months and are fine-tuned and should be relatively bug-free (knock on wood). The installation package will modify your vehicles.meta to allow multiple liveries for all vehicles as well as changing the handling line for the police and police3 slots. This can be easily undone using the Uninstaller package included in the download. All vehicles feature HD 4k skins made by @TrentMU and possess a variety of extras, including:

Panasonic Arbitrator Dashcams
Prisoner Partitions
Passenger-side Spotlights

Installation Instructions

Launch OpenIV and select Grand Theft Auto V.
Click Tools -> Package Installer.
Select "LSPD Pack Installer 1.0.0.oiv."
Click install and choose whether to install to your mods folder (highly recommended) or directly into your game (not advised).
Launch GTA V and enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: The package installer fails partway through. How can I fix this?

A: The package installer modifies your vehicles.meta to change just a few lines so that the vehicles will be multi-livery enabled and handle correctly. If you are having problems installing the package, please install a clean vehicles.meta into mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ and then try again. A clean vehicles.meta can be found HERE. Alternatively, you can run the uninstaller package included in the download prior to reinstalling the package.

Q: My package installed successfully but my game is crashing while loading. How can I fix this?

A: If you experience crashing while loading, you probably don't have a gameconfig.xml configured to allow add-on cars. There are a few different gameconfigs which different people are reporting as working. You can find a gameconfig.xml to fix your crashing problem HERE, or if that doesn't work, HERE.

Q: I've installed the package but my lights do not seem to be working. They are showing up in the wrong places or not flashing correctly, why?

A: This mod uses a custom carvariations.meta to assign custom sirensettings to each vehicle included. If the lights are not working correctly, another mod you have installed is causing a conflict with this carvariations.meta. Please check all installed mods for a carvariations.meta file (it will be located in common/data/ within a DLC folder). If you have another carvariations which assigns a sirensetting to police, police2, police3, police4, police5, or police6, delete those vehicle entries from it and see if the issue is resolved.

Q: I've installed the package and my vehicles are working in game, but the lights are not bright like they are in the screenshots. How can I fix this?

A: You will need to install a light-enhancing graphics mod as well as set your Post FX and Shader settings to High. I would recommend installing Radiance V.

What did you do Kodi if your trying to change your vehicles Just rename your vehicles all the same as like Policeold1 I guess if your installing to that slot then you will have to keep this that one as if that you were trying to do Just redo your files just like before reverify again through steam or whatever to put back your files or just delete your files that you put into OIV

Can anyone help me with a problem I'm having? It maybe something little and stupid since I'm a novice to GTA. Since the last GTA update which required me updating Rage and Script Hook I can't access the LSPD vehicle pack or the Sherriff/FIB pack. LSDPFR and all other mods load fine but none of the my police car models that I previously had before the update will load. I'm stuck with the games default police cars. When I go into Open IV in the mods folder I still see the LSPD and Sheriff/FIB pack listed. What do I need to do?

What do i do , the uninstaller fails nearly instantly when i use it , and id like to uninstall this their way too boring .

You will have to reinstall any vehicles and mods that you apply using OpenIV after an update.

I guess just removing the folder in your dlcpacks folder would work.

hey i installed this and changed the file names to police 8-11 so it doesn't change the other cars i have installed and im getting errors trying to do both Installing and Uninstalling - even checked dlc-packs and the lspd dlc pack thing isnt there.

@Captain14 hey bro awesome pack ive been searching for a pack like this I downloaded both this one and the sheriffs/fbi one that you have as well how ever I have encountered a bug where when I use the installer everything go as planned but the cars sometimes don't show up at all when I call 911 or try to spawn them after I installed them in the mods folder I have tried to reinstall it but that sometimes don't work the files are there and all after install and yet they don't show up or say invalid model and they sometimes don't show up again after exit the game to spend time with the family but when I turn it back on they are not there so I have to reinstall them again and again is there a way to fix this thanks?

So the dirt mapping on the FPIS and the charger seem to not be aligned and I know the model is locked. Any chance we could get that dirt mapping fixed? They're beautiful cars and they look awful with this issue in the dirt :(

i love the interceptor sedan model it seems to be the only one on here that is scaled close to the real life car...I hope it gets released again one day with els...maybe unlocked

afaik the dirt textures are not properly done, it doesn't have to do with the model but more the textures, and it uses GTAV Default Dirt Textures, and as you stated model is locked.. so its rather annoying :(

It has to do with the dirt mapping not being lined up properly with the model in zmodeler sadly. I've already tried to mess with the textures in an attempt to work around it but without editing the UV mapping it's a lost cause. Shame too because it's a near perfect model. I'll probably just make the dirt mapping transparent so it never shows for now or I'll go hang myself, one of the two.

Its a shame because most of the vehicles are kind of affected by the dirt mapping not being mapped properly, even making the dirt transparent, will help for the FPIS, but not the charger, i fiddled quite alot with it today, and got no where. The worst part is how Captain14 kind of dissapeared. Hasn't been active in over a year.

Just thought id let you know, the lights are causing issues on my end, it causes the extras (ram bar, spotlight etc) to cut in and out then the lights are going.

That’s because these vehicles aren’t els. You can edit the corresponding vcf files for it to work.

In the start of the vcf file you see extra 1-12. Change the text to false (instead of true) on all of them That makes els not control the extras.

ive installed it no crash just bugs with the rampbar search light and the cages keeps flickering on and off whe I use my els light how can I fix this

Please help my installation failed halfway and i did what the publisher said of downloading a new vehicle.meta but it still didnt work.
