Well, tastes are different. Bugs always gives replicas his own taste with something different than the real life models. But to rate two or three stars is quite ridicolous. His models never dissappointed me in quality and design. It's always top of the notch. When i download a model from Bugs i don't have to think about dissappearing wheels or bad LOD work. I can't say this often about models from other modders. He's on the highest level. Is it jealousy?  I don't know. I think the people expected a 100% replica and are dissappointed now that it's not 100%. Some people in here dissappointed me a lot with their low ratings.

Why does the watch guard have a black screen in this model? Even when the engine is on.

I think the intent was to create something that was a compromise between what the LAPD would use and something lore friendly for the LSPD (hence the LSPD/LAPD title). The arjent is a good example of this. Another indicator of this is the city seal on the doors. It has the color scheme and general layout of the real life LA version but some LS motifs mixed in. I think you guys are being a bit harsh because the quality of the model it self it no worse than any of Bugs' previous releases.

Honestly, I agree with @AMSAGENT000. All of Bxbugs123's models are always top notch. Yes, he doesn't release models everyday, but when he releases models, they're always good and I find little to none to ever complain about. These models were meant to be simple, and to replicate LAPD lighting set-ups with an LSPD twist, hence the slight lack of lighting. Yea, they aren't accurate LAPD but LSPD is also clearly in the title, and nonetheless its still a beautiful car.

He released this because they were leaked anyway. Bugs had no intention of releasing this car otherwise.

I wouldn't know about that but just another reason to appreciate this release rather than complain.

do you know why he had no intent? Or was he going to release it at a later date?

Here we go again. Another bunch of entitled kids complaining over the hard work this man puts into EVERYTHING he releases. Honestly, if you think you could've done better, then please, show us. Great model as always Bugs, don't let the few knuckleheads get to you buddy

Jesus Christ people, It's just the title of a mod! No need to be hating on Bxbugs' amazing models just because they arent accurate LAPD vehicles. Go check out Windows446 if you want accuracy. For me, I'll take coronas, awesome interior, and bugs' amazing arjent.

I think he was going to release them in a mini-pack, including the two released today (Charger and CVPI) and an Impala. I also think he was going to release the CVPI hubcaps with it, considering LAPD uses hubs on most of their Vics, and these cars are LSPD/LAPD based.

You guys need to stop bitching... It takes a lot of work and effort into making something as good as Bugs does it. The amount of work that goes into his models is very impressive. Also the title has LSPD in it, not just LAPD, so who is saying it has to be 100% accurate to the LAPD? And then people wonder why modelers don't release as often anymore.

Guys,

Can anyone oblige in why the lights are not all working? Has anyone had the same issue? The only slight change is that i have placed this in the FBI slot as i like the unmarked version. Sits nicely.

Thanks

This is what @sircam19 told others who needed to fix the lights on the crown vic with the liberty lightbar. Just find the corresponding carvariations.meta.

HERE IS HOW TO FIX THE LIGHTS.

1. In openIV go to mods, update, x64, dlcpacks, mpchristmas2, dlc.rpf, common, data

2. Right click on carvariations.meta and click extract. ( I recommend extracting it to the desktop)

3. Open it then scroll down until you see <modelName>sheriff</modelName>

4. Then keep scrolling untill you see <lightSettings value="0" />
                                                          <sirenSettings value="1" />

5. Make sure the numbers in your file look the same as the ones above.

6. Then save the file and drag it back into open IV where it was.

Hopefully that helped if no feel free to comment and ill try to help.

Love, Love, LOVE Bugs' vehicles. His attention to detail makes his vehicles fun to drive. When I want a law enforcement vehicle of any kind Bxbugs123 is the one I go to because I know he always makes a quality product

I hope at some point he adds a blue-only light option for this model. He's added this feature to a few other models and it's really great.

Anyone else not getting environmental lighting reflections like his other vehicles? I know he makes all his vehicles with coronas, but it seems only the 2 LEDs on the front bumper have reflections.
