Hello,
Thank you for downloading the Los Santos Police Department Pack v1. I have been working on this pack off and on after 
being busy with school and whatnot. It isn't done, but I really wanted to get this out to the community. I made it so that the antennas and pushbar on each model is an extra also. So far the following bugs have been identified:

  • on all the models the partition and dominator lights appear washed out at certain times of the day (being worked on)
  •  the 2014 Dodge Charger and 2014 Ford Explorer's wheel's disappear from a distance

I hope you guys can live with these bugs until I have time to fix them. I have become very busy with school coming to a 
close and finals coming up. I hope you all understand. Spotlights will also be added in the next update.

 

Installation and Usage

The cars can be installed in the patchday9ng vehicles.rpf located here:
update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday9ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\

The carvariations must be installed to insure the 2014 Explorer's lights work properly. You can install that here: 
\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\common\data

 

Planned Features

  • on all the models the partition and dominator lights appear washed out at certain times of the day (being worked on)
  • add correct LOD's for 14' Charger and Explorer
  • add spotlights to all cars

 

Miscellaneous

Would it be possible for you to make another CVPI sometime with two types of light bars? A slightly old lightbar, like a Mx7000, and a modern code 3 defender for example. I haven't seen any CVPIs like this with your level of quality, I would love it if that could be changed! :-)

Anyway, please don't feel pressured after all its up to you.

What i was requesting (only if you want to make  it) was a crown vic that had the option to switch between an old rotatory lighter and a new LED one on the same model as an extra. Basically, like the stock police staniers that have two different light bars that you can toggle separately.

    Great models virzza, love all the vehicles however the rambar for the CVPI seems bland without any company logo (setina, rhino) is it possible to add this later on, along with the spotlights and all..

    Hi mate, i want to ask something real quick, i am a dutch modder looking for a Whelen lightbar, and now i see yours, wich looks just PERFECT, can i get this model unlocked so i can get the lightbar or are you willing to send it to me?, you will be really helpfull!!

    I can't get the lightbar to work when I install the explorer in the FBI2 slot. Any ideas on how to fix this? Also what to I overwrite to add skins to the charger?

    Does the lightbar look black? If so change the tint with a trainer in game and then change the diffuse tint value for the car in the vehicles meta. You want to set it to 0x00FFFFFF. Or you can use the carvariations that came with the car if the lightbar isn't black.

    Does anyone know of a LAPD skin for the Explorer in this pack? Some of the ones I've looked for don't have the same texture layout. :( 

     

    Beautiful work, and a daily driver for me. This beauty if going to stay here for a LONG time!

    Just watched a video with your cars in it, and I noticed something. My police lights don't give off a glow but it's working for others. My lights are just static without any glow or anything on them. Any reason for this?

    The only thing I would say is that the lightbar seems to thick in height, try lowering it down just a little bit.
