This is a simple script that is based on ragehook to make cars move over when only having your emergency lights running not your siren

no keys because it works as a standalone script what I basically mean is it doesn't need any user interaction it does everything by itself

I am trying to enhance the "default" without script behavior so the pullover behavior or "move over" behavior is improved because to be honest when I play the game every time I get to a crowded area in gta v I keep crashing into people because they don't move over correctly.

So I guess the gist of what I am trying to say is be respectful, don't say the obvious everyone knows this works without a script by default in gta v.

README/Install Instructions:

  • extract the dll file from the zip file using 7-zip or winrar or whatever
  • and then copy the dll file to your plugins folder
  • to here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\general\Grand Theft Auto V\plugins
  • and that is where you place the dll file to make this script work
  • If you have your game on any other drive replace the C:\ part with your drive you have the game on.

Important Notice regarding Obfuscation Used to Protect Copyright

Due to using Max Obfuscation Settings inside the .Net Framework Obfuscator that is used to protect copyrighted logic & such inside the software/plugin, it is likely a antivirus might see the obfuscation and several other obfuscation settings like anti-tamper/anti debug/etc that are used to further protect and prevent copyright infringement of the software/plugin as a False Positive.

To Date as of 8/23/2023 there has only been one lesser known antivirus named "Ikarus" that has even thought this plugin is a virus/trojan which it is not and is only due to the extreme protection settings set in the .Net Framework Obfuscator used to protect the software/plugin that causes this.

Yes possibly a bug with the update notification API, I will likely have to see what happened in the last update.

Let me check the server that is running this, maybe I can fix it and I will release a update maybe soon(won't guarantee today but will try) to make it more fault tolerant incase this ever happens again. 

 

Update has been submitted for approval to resolve this and introduce fault tolerance into the update check system to ensure it checks if the site is online first before continuing to look for the XML File for update checking to avoid crashing the script due to XML Parsing failing.

Hi, I'm still new to many mods, I read the description of what it does but it wasn't clear to me one thing. Does your script assume responsibility for the function instead of lspdfr? Is there no conflict with the native lspdfr? If you can clarify this I would be grateful, and thank you for this release and update support!

They new .dll is not working, everytime I load it it crashes. Can't be the only one?

Seem to be experiencing a crash, I have not had this issue before. Thinking maybe it's due to new added vehicles possibly?. Anyone have any ideas for me while I troubleshoot it?.

Honestly this mod wasnt doing anything to make heavy vehicles like Buses, Mule, Pounder, Hauler, Dump, and all other vehicles move out the way as the mod implies. So i discovered that all that needed to be done was to take your time and edit the VehicleMetaxml to remove the Heavy Flags from the lines thathad them on the vehicles such as the ones named above. Now in game when you have your emergency lights on the will come to a stop and move to the right! Its been captured on video and it works!

Just to let you know, the update fixed the crash and the false update.

Great mod, although this doesn't seem to work for me with certain added ELS cars. Anybody else experiencing this problem?

Heavy or "FLAG_BIG"? I wasn't able to find any flag named heavy in my vehicle.meta. Big was the closest I could find. In any case I am trying it. I removed all "FLAG_BIG" flags from the vehicles.meta as well as installing this Plugin.

 

I just want vehicles to stop going full retard when I'm sat on the side of the road on a traffic stop. 😄

what is exactly going on? I was looking at your comment just now, and you are stating for some reason, you are stating big aka semi's pounders,etc are not moving out of your way? if so, I will see what I can do for that in a update, but for right now the best I have found to fix this in my internal testing is to do some things inside the code, to make Semi's & such behave like there supposed to, far as I remember this should be in the released version here if it is not, well I probably forgot a update.

can you do a pluging something like this when your blocking traffic with your lights on , That vehicles go around you, Or turn left or right , they  just stay on your tail gate and crash you, is annoying  it makes a mess
