The Los Santos/Los Angeles area has received a new police bike! The Hakuchou 1100P police variant is joining the streets! Built with power and maneuverability, this bike is a MUST for all departments who have a bike division! 

This model was based of the CHP BMW police bike. Hope you all enjoy! 

 


This model was edited/created by me. It has a CHP skin on it and LSPD one. Both quickly done.
I am not the best skin maker, so I leave it up to the pros.
includes template.

Open the vehicles.meta file (\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta), search for "<modelName>policeb" and then look for a line that says "<audioNameHash />". Change that line so it says "<audioNameHash>HAKUCHOU</audioNameHash>", however doing this will make the sirens go silent... I don't really know why it does that, but it seems to do it for pretty much every police vehicle =/

Love this, i've been searching for a CHP BMW for ages. Although this isn't it it fits the job. Is it possible to make the player sit up when riding rather than hunched over? Don't know how easy that would be to do though.

Hey I made this into a addon in my game by renaming it to policeb2 and also changing the relevant things in the vehicle.meta and I am able to load it into game just fine however the siren/lights dont work nor do I get any engine sounds from it. Do i need to change the <audioNameHash /> for it to have any sounds? I have seen people saying it has the incorrect bike sound but for me it has zero sounds.

Audiohash needs to.correspond to policeb. I think you also n"eed to add a carvariation. I'll look into it. Let me know if you make progress.

It looks funny if I leave it to the original.bike lol. Legs and back does weeeeird things.

hmm any idea where i might find the carvariations for the policeb? Doesnt seem to be any in patchday1

update: got the lights working by moving my policeb2 file over to mpchristmas2 and using the carvariations file there. however still no siren or engine sounds perhaps I need to change <sirenSettings value="1" />. going to fiddle around more with the carvariations file, will report back.

So i assume it's not possible to alter the position the sit then. Even create a new position. I don't really know the capabilities of modding in GTA since i'm relatively new to modding the game. Thanks for the response anyway.

I have been trying to add a "Policeb2" also. Will the car variation from any police vehicle do? Or does it need to be tweaked to work with a bike. I've added a few police cars to my game myself ei a Sheriff3, Sheriff4, FBI2. Haven't done any bikes before so i'm a bit confused.

Doesn't seem to be the correct pathway in the readme.  Also would love some input on how to get the black skin on this bike ;)

That's where I installed the bike. It should be right. Black skin is skin #2.

I think you were reading my mind.  Pretty sure patchday4  or even patchday8 will always overwrite previous correct?

you can install any vehicle to patchday8ng and it will override all other dlc/regular folders as it's the newest.

Thanks,  got it working in pathday4, but its always nice to know pathday8 will overwrite most all.

How do I change the the thing in vehicles.meta? I found the policeb in the file but can't change anything.... Also clicked on 'edit' help!

Because only police vehicle models have siren sounds defined for them somewhere else in the game's code. If a vehicle doesn't have a siren to play, it won't.

Sirensetting is indeed directly responsible only for controlling the behavior of flashing lights on a vehicle (because R* can't do things in a logical way).

Troopermng, I see. That's just my first thought. Sometimes miss.installation can cause problems, I will look into it. I install my own mods just to double check and I have not had that problem. Can you change liveries or edit vehicle color?

I solved the problem (I think). If someone is using Realism Dispatch Enhanced, it adds a texture for the default policeb. Going into veichles.rpf of the RDE dlc and deleting the policeb.ytd solved my problem

I edited and changed lines for policeb in vehicle.meta but he's still sitting very weird. Any hints?
