Yea, i understood that. But what i was asking was, what did you mean with LAPD version? Like with a Arjent or things like that? If you are thinking about the skin, you can change that buy yourself.

@ PimDSLR I think you should add the actual lines of the carvariations for people using already modified carvariation files, or simply using also your other cars since they all seem to need a modified carvariation file. So yeah, adding the actual lines to replace/change would be nice.

I meant the skin, i don't even know how to make skins as I'm not expert at doing that. I also wished that there was a option for LAPD skin, since some previous mods included both LAPD and LSPD skins.

You don't have to make your own skins. There is plenty of skins and skin packs out on LCPDFR at the moment, so you just have to download one of those and i'll think you'll be alright. For example this LAPD/LASD skin pack http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/9401-real-lapdlasd-liveries/. And im also knowing that previous mods includes both LAPD and LSPD, but some modders just make the model itself and does not probably wanna make own skins, or wait for someone else to let them use their skins. But if you are adding alot of cars in the game, you should already know you don't have to make your own skins.

I know this is just a problem with my local copy but pretty much every police3 has the lights all mapped wrong, including this one. I checked for any old carvariations.meta from previous police3s but didn't find anything. only one entry in vehicles.meta and it looks to be the original. anything else that could be causing the lights to flash not even attached to the car? The regular police one you made works fine on my install.

A spotlight and the dashlight as an Extra would be cool. Also a carvariations file, like Hystery said. The dashlight belongs inside the car, behind the windshield. A prisoner partition and a radio would be cool also.

I will keep that in mind. I can't place the dashlight begind the glass because the light effect disappears. So this was a alternative.

I want to put it in POLICE slot. I have change the name from police3 to police and put it in the 64e and patch3 folder. But how do i change the carvariations.meta file from police3 to police? Cant find it anywhere.

Have you got plans for a 2013 Dodge Charger? Would love one of those. Nice to see someone making a force with a different lightbar to the Arjent.

Search for police3 in the carvariations.meta provided by pimdslr. Copy the whole part, changing the name from police3 to police, then paste it at the top of the carvariations.meta located in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpluxe/dlc.rpf/common/data

Anyway this car should have more skins, as it spawns very frequently and only 2 make same unit numbers appear too much frequently. Also I noticed that you put the lightbar as an extra, I wouldn't have done it. Pushbar and spotlights as extra is ok, but not the lightbar: they will spawn only one at a time (not a problem for personal vehicle, trainer will do the job, but for AI police they will spaw 1/3 without lightbar). This is a problem that affected also F5544 CVPI with Arjent/Mx, setting lightbar as an extra will make it spawn more and more rarely as you add extras to the model. Lights setting is ok, no bugs for me

Misschien kun je de dashlight dan gewoon weghalen? Want zoals het nu is staat het echt niet mooi. Misschien als alternatief een paar ledjes in de zijspiegels? (zoals in het plaatje)

while im not a valor fan, the rear deck lights make me happy

Any word on this? I copied the carvariations over in the beginning but the lights are still all messed up on police and police3. I'm not new to adding new cars, I've done it a million times before, just some lights are messed up every so often with certain cars. What else could cause this?
