This is the dev model released by F5544 i have made an NYPD Marked version added lights and lightup TOUGHBOOK and a pushbar

All light mods are edit by myself 

l have edit the lightbar to replicate nypd but also that the siren light works correctly 

NYPD Vehicle Texture by POLICESCO

Credits:

Model is original Driver san Fransisco, modified for GTAV and marked to Police version by F5544.
Liveries are made by DoTTGaMMa/bxbugs123 and adapted to this version by BogdanM
Lspd liveries by BogdanM
Rhino Rambar/antenna’s made by F5544 and Textures F5544/Lt.Caine.
Whelen Justice Lightbar by Bxbugs123 converted to GTA V by F5544, textures by BogdanM and Bxbugs123.
Interior from Forza edited by F5544/Bxbugs123
Wheels edited by Prophet.
Laptop/radio by 0Taku.
Watchguard by F5544, textures by 0taku.

Handling issues seems to be most who have changed vehicle meta to fix this

 

Extract and Edit vehicles.meta (most likely in update.rpf -> common -> data -> levels -> gta5)

Search for <modelName>police3 

Change <handlingId>FELON</handlingId> to <handlingId>POLICE3</handlingId> 

Save and Reinsert with OpenIV 

 

INSTALL 
You need to replace the files POLICE3

Update/x64/dlcpacks/PATCHDAY4NG/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles with the ones in the download folder ENJOY!

    I'm having a few problems. The Taurus and Impala's lightbar doesn't seem to work properly as the lightbar has these blocks on them and the actual lights don't correspond. The CVPI is fine and works but these two don't. I also added the handling but thats handling. Is there any way of getting it to work correctly?

    Hmm did you put them in the police 3slot or 2

    I put the Impala in Police2 because CVPI takes Police1 and Taurus in the Police3 slot (where the files say for Taurus).

    Ok I won't bother anymore, I think its because Police1 has the rota lightbar already.

    You should really make a sanchez with police lights or an atv with lights

    and maybe it could be search and rescue

    The NYPD CVPI, Taurus, and Impala are amazing but Im having problems with the Impala and Taurus. The cvpi is fine but the Lightbars for the other 2 have these blocks. I did have to put the Impala in POLICE2 since the cvpi was in 1, and the Taurus is where its supposed to be and its still not working. Way to get this working?

    the lightbar isnt working. when i turn on siren it turns into like missing textures. Same goes for the impala.

    I have issues with the taurus and impala lightbar, they are in the police2 and 3 slot.  The coronas show up but the lights are all blocks when they flash.

    For these lightbars to work, you must copy 'Police' carvariations data to 'Police2' and 'Police3' carvariations (if thats how you have installed the cars). Unfortunetly I do not know where the carvariations are for 'Police3' but I believe 'Police2' is in 'mpchristmas2' area. Hope this is helpful.

    I'm not too sure. I just have files that already have 'Police' carvariations on my computer. However, I do think that every police (possibly emergency vehicles as well) vehicle's carvariations is in 'mpchristmas2' (Sheriff 1 & 2 are for sure).

    @Mercenary @bloo26212 I scoured every carvariations.meta in GTA V directory and couldn't find "police" or "police2". I also looked for sheriff (since the sheriff cruiser has the rotating lightbar) but couldn't find it. 

    Since I really like these vehicles by POLICESCO, and I live in NYC, I wanted to use them. I ended up renaming the 2012 NYPD Impala to "sheriff" and replaced the default sheriff cruiser to the impala. The lightbar worked perfectly without the blocks. I'm going to try the Taurus next.

    You won't find any 'Police' carvariations because Rockstar never put them in as default. But it is simple, copy 'Police' carvariation data and rename the 'modelname' to whatever in 'mpchristmas2' carvariations file. Hard to understand but once got the hang of, its pretty simple.

    @Mercenary I hate to admit but I am having trouble finding the "Police" carvariation data I want to use. Can you help find it?
