The Install Instructions have Changed Adding an additional Vehicle Meta file to install. THIS IS REQUIRED TO GET ALL THE VEHICLES THAT ARE NON ADD ON VEHICLES DIALS WORKING!!!

Hello Everyone,

 

After 8 Long on and off Months of working on this Pack it is finally being released for everyone to use:

 

Thero's Lore Friendly, Fictional, ELS Vehicle Pack (23 Total Vehicles). 

 

This is a Lore Friendly pack and not based on any real emergency services department. HOWEVER The Police are based on the Murrieta, Ca Police Liveries but in Lore Form. 

 

Special Thanks:
-To everyone who released the DEV models to make these possible. Sharing with the community really helps showcase multiple talents and ideas and wouldn't be possible without all your help and support of the community!!!

-Special Thanks to @Sinnisa and @shadowdiver710 of LSPDFR. They went and Created the Liveries for Almost all of the vehicles as well as help me with creating the liveries that I made in the pack, as well as Beta Testing the Pack to help me find any bugs and/or issues that I may have overlooked.

-Also Want to Thank @Mr.JonnhyCZG of LSPDFR. He offered his services to Beta Test the Pack as well as take amazing pictures and create a video for the Pack to showcase the great work that All 3 of these LSPDFR members were apart of.

 

*NOTE* These 3 packs obviously have a lot of time and energy in them when I worked on them. If you find issues other than in the known issues that I may have overlooked please let me know and I'll try and provide a fix and update the file

 

What Comes in the Pack:
-1 "Add On" Vehicle Files with CarVariation and Vehicle.meta files modified for them (Simply type in the file name in your trainer to spawn the vehicle).

-8 "Replacement" Vehicle Files.

-All ELS Files for Lightning Setup -Credit to @shadowdiver710 for doing these.

-Multiple Liveries Enabled for All of the Vehicle Models (Additional CarVariation & Vehicle.meta edits maybe needed for some vehicles already not enabled).

-Templates to Create Your Own Liveries for the models (I'm sorry I had to create new ones for every vehicle. I wanted to use already created templates however I am not very good in regards to painting Black and White Units).

-All Rambars are Extra's and can be added/removed at anytime while in game

Very true and I noticed that with my Sheriff Pack as well, Was already done with the last vehicle before I realized it and was already tired of painting to fix it

Most owesome PACK!!!! JUST LOVE IT!!! Finally the best pack!!! Trafic advisor spotlights!! I just need to test out if it incorporates all the features of ELS like take downs on the sides for alleys etc! Man you are awesome!

need to fix your review that problem isn't theros problem its modding dlc problem

Nope I re-installed GTA V completely and just made the installation of the 3 packs with the instructions provided + ELS, lasted Ragehook, latest Scripthook. And it still crashed... That why I made the suggestion to solve the installation issues and make an easy install, I have been installed All kinds of vehicles by my self even addons that are not suppose to be and it worked. So the problem is on the installation process provided by Thero, that's why is better to use a OIV File creating his own dlc pack instead of using mpchristmas2, mpvalentines2 and patchday14ng. And made His own DLC pack, like ThorePD, ThoreSD, ThoreUndercover, etc etc.

 

I will change the review as soon the installation issue is solved and I can actually test the vehicles.

    what ever but there is nothing wrong with the pack as I have it installed as a modding dlc

    I been taking the mods appart and I found that the replace models work just fine. And about the Add on Models, I Founded an error in the FBI6 and FBI5, Need to test those with the native fbi carvanas and vehicles files, that's the next step. So in resume There's something wrong with the FBI6 and FBI5. I'm testing one by one.

    I have followed the instructions and I believe done it all correctly but the game crashes on startup, any ideas?

    I think in the instructions i may have incorrectly written the location for the car variations, they i forgot to add "common" in the mpchristmas2 pathway (I am at work for another 6 hours before i can go home and verify).

     

    Also are you using all 3 packs I released? If so you will need to use those files in place of the other two.

    how do i replace this corner van as the default one in lspdfr?

    I can never remember which one of @Albo1125 scripts has it (i love em all and have all of them lol) but one of them in the ini says something along the lines of "default corner vehicle = SPEEDO" change the speedo to CORVAN and it should show up as your corner van

    This is a really great looking pack, unfortunately the lights are a really big turn off for me. The colors for the red and blue are way too dark, I prefer a much lighter color which makes it feel more realistic. The traffic advisor is an obnoxiously bright yellow, it would look much better with amber like the police transport van has on the back. I would really like to use this pack in my game but the lights just don't look good. However I do appreciate the time and effort you put into this pack the cars look fantastic.

    There are numerous files that edit the light emissive under visual and data files. Try using some of those. If all else fails, message me and I will send you some that you might like.

    Understandable but it should be looking at how to incorperate els into its systems.

     

    For a vehicle modeling perspective els makes creating light setups easier, you dont have to search through files of code to change light patterns to mimic els, you dont have to resize light meshs and rotate dummys a certain direction because rockstar set it up this way or position them through the ground so the coronas dont look right.

     

    I think those are some of the main reasons you dont see as much non els anymore.

     

    I have a non els version not of this pack but from the past i never released because it contained a car i couldnt get permission to use. Its more lapd and lasd theme you can see a video of it on my YouTube

    I love the pack, but I'm having an issue with the .metas... For some reason, I receive a crash after installing them. Did a quick check to make sure there was nothing wrong with my game. Everything works, but once the metas are installed, the game crashes on launch. I wish I could be more helpful than that, but after skimming through the files, I don't know what the problem is.

     

    UPDATE : Nevermind, it also seems to be an issue with the Vehicle Files themselves. Removed all metas this time around, same issue. So I'll be adding the vehicles one at a time until I find the issue.
