[ELS] LSPD Vehicle Pack 1.1.0

(65 reviews)

10 Screenshots

FILE INFO:

This vehicle pack contains 10 vehicles; 6 patrol, 2 traffic enforcement and 2 unmarked cars. The following cars are included:

2011 CVPI

2013 Tahoe

2014 Charger

2015 FPIU

2016 Charger

2016 FPIS

2016 FPIS - Unmarked

2014 Charger - Unmarked

2011 CVPI - Traffic Enforcement

2016 Impala Traffic Enforcement

Patrol and Traffic Enforcement vehicles have working takedowns and alley lights.

PLEASE NOTE -  The unmarked vehicles have been separated from the main folder and are their own download due to upload size limits.

- If you do not have extra police slots setup POLICE5 and POLICE6 will not work in game. You can rename these to whatever you want. Just make sure your vehicles.meta, mainly the handling lines, are correct (so you don't have SUV handling for a sedan or something).

PREVIEW VIDEO:

(The aux coronas don't show up in the editor, so this isn't a completely accurate representation of in game lighting with included VCFs, but you get the idea).

OTHER INFO:

  • TINT BUG? Go into the vehicle.meta and find the 'diffusetint' line for the particular model (SHERIFF2, SHERIFF, POLICE, etc). Replace that value with <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />  ... Or simply change the tint in game with a native trainer
  • If your Impala is flipping try a different handling line. I have had luck with POLICE3 and FUGITIVE
  • If you are changing the liveries YOU MUST change the textures in both the normal .ytd and the +hi.ytd ... if you just change it in one or the other the liveries will be different at different distances.
  • If you don't like something about the lighting patterns, speeds, light stages or anything related to ELS chances are you can change it! ELS is extremely customizable. Check out the ELS documentation, please don't ask me. All the info you need is in there.
  • If you notice a bug or mistake (which I most likely have made a few) please let me know, and I'll try to fix it in the next update. It could be an easy or quick fix.

Do you have any light-enhancing mod installed? E.g. VisualV, RadianceV, etc.

If you don't that may be why the lights do not 'flash' correctly, yet the light texture is still shown.

I´ve installed RadianceV and the lightbars doesn´t even flash only the brake lights are flashing. Maybe the Screenshot shows more. The Police3 lights (screenshot_1) don´t flash it seems only the texture is loaded. And the others only a part is loaded but they don´t flash.

This is usually an issue when the ELS files are not put in correctly. Make sure if you changed the name of the car, you change the name of it's ELS file as well.

Hey there,

I'm having a similar issue to the above poster. All of my lights work on the cars, but on some of the cars (police1 and fbi2 come to mind), the back of the lightbars do not come on. Everything is on and responding to changes in ELS, and the lightbar works on the front and sides, but just the back is the red and blue part but not lit up. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Edit: I've also edited the vehicles.meta file to remove the tinted windows, but notice on these cars experiencing issues that *some* of the windows still have the weird tint, front driver and passenger side, but not any of the rear windows.

Hey buddy, just a short question. Is there any chance to see the crown vics with optional hubcaps in a future update? Thanks in advance!

I recommend to install this CVPI wheel pack by BxBugs. It gives you all different types of Hubcaps. I never use my game without it

In regards to your issues. Ensure you have ELS installed correctly, specifically the advancedhookV.dll. Just to be safe, I would consider reinstalling ELS. You can do so without changing any of the ELS configurations of each individual vehicle by just replacing the ELS.asi, ELS Config File, and the AdvancedHookV.dll.

Hope this helps, let me know if it doesn't and I'll try to find a solution.

Thanks bud, i know that wheel pack but as far as i understand (pls correct me if i'm wrong) a wheel pack doesn't change the wheels for any responding unit, right?

I can only change them on my own whip?

Correct. For the responding (AI) units to have different hubcaps, yet retain a single CVPI in only one of the police slots (instead of having like 3 of the same CVPIs in the 3 police slots with the only difference being the hubcaps). It would be difficult. It would mean BradM would have to mess around with the extras/components in order to allow a CVPI (in this case) to spawn with different hubcaps. Now, I, myself, not being a modeller in any sense (although I would love to learn), have no idea how much work that would need. Surely a experience modeller could let you know. But the main concern to me would be ensure your ELS doesn't conflict with the components as ELS uses components to generate your different flash patterns - to which to modellers put on the vehicles.

I suck at explaining things, but I hope you get the idea I'm trying to put across.

Can someone help me. I'm having the same issue that aserfreak had, but for me the emergency lights are not turning on.bug.thumb.png.d726a21db05a65297f1fc7e07ddfbe87.png

I'm leaving a screenshot of my Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default to see if there is any error on how I installed since I don't know much about modding.

2.png.277c7b033b2e5eca2714cfb4e3d808c2.png

I did some suggestion from above such as install VisualV and reinstall ELS but still didn't work and still the same way as the in game screenshot above.

Are you a new user to the ELS System? If so, the menu you have open in the game does not work alongside ELS. So they simply will not turn on. By default, 'J' will be the key to turn on your lights with 'G' being the key to activate your siren. There are many more buttons to learn, in which, I suggest you read up on the Controls PDF that is supplied in the ELS Download Folder under 'Documentation' (I believe).

I'm only guessing by the fact that menu is open that you are a new user to ELS. Correct me if I'm wrong. But hopefully I've helped.

Yes it worked now. I didn't know that ELS had other controls because before I install this pack I used the pack from Captain14 and the lights worked normally.

Now all vehicles are working fine thanks.

@Kallus Rourke Only thing I can think of is that the colored glass can have a dimming effect on the lights, which is why I also added the clear glass option if people didn't like it. Otherwise I personally haven't had any problem with the lights while using RadianceV on it's brightest setting. I did not make any changes to the emissive mesh and these are some of the better emissive textures out there so I'm not sure why your lights wouldn't be bright.

That's the strange part.  During the night the lights look just fine.  It's only during the day.  I didn't notice the clear glass options.  I'll give those a shot and see how it goes.  It's not a huge deal or one that breaks the pack for me.

[Edit 8/28/17]

@BradM  Just wanted to update you after trying the clear class, the lights are now perfect.  Thanks. :)

@BradMI just thought you might want to know that headrests on the back seats to the impala are see-through from the back. I didn't notice it at first, but now that I do, it's pretty distracting :woot:. That is all. Wonderful pack though.

This pack is sheer genius Brad and I hope you keep up this amazing work, but I did run into one issue that I'm not sure how to fix. When the 2013 tahoe spawns in, the back of the lightbar is blacked out so that you can't see the lights, until I change the window tint in the trainer. That would be fine, I'd just change it everytime but the AI spawn in like that also and it looks very interesting lol. Anyways, if there's a fix for this that would be great, but if not, I'm still going to use the pack. :)
