[ELS] LSPD Vehicle Pack 1.1.0

(65 reviews)

10 Screenshots

FILE INFO:

This vehicle pack contains 10 vehicles; 6 patrol, 2 traffic enforcement and 2 unmarked cars. The following cars are included:

2011 CVPI

2013 Tahoe

2014 Charger

2015 FPIU

2016 Charger

2016 FPIS

2016 FPIS - Unmarked

2014 Charger - Unmarked

2011 CVPI - Traffic Enforcement

2016 Impala Traffic Enforcement

Patrol and Traffic Enforcement vehicles have working takedowns and alley lights.

PLEASE NOTE -  The unmarked vehicles have been separated from the main folder and are their own download due to upload size limits.

- If you do not have extra police slots setup POLICE5 and POLICE6 will not work in game. You can rename these to whatever you want. Just make sure your vehicles.meta, mainly the handling lines, are correct (so you don't have SUV handling for a sedan or something).

PREVIEW VIDEO:

(The aux coronas don't show up in the editor, so this isn't a completely accurate representation of in game lighting with included VCFs, but you get the idea).

If I have missed a credit I'm sorry, please let me know and I'll fix it asap.

OTHER INFO:

  • TINT BUG? Go into the vehicle.meta and find the 'diffusetint' line for the particular model (SHERIFF2, SHERIFF, POLICE, etc). Replace that value with <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />  ... Or simply change the tint in game with a native trainer
  • If your Impala is flipping try a different handling line. I have had luck with POLICE3 and FUGITIVE
  • If you are changing the liveries YOU MUST change the textures in both the normal .ytd and the +hi.ytd ... if you just change it in one or the other the liveries will be different at different distances.
  • If you don't like something about the lighting patterns, speeds, light stages or anything related to ELS chances are you can change it! ELS is extremely customizable. Check out the ELS documentation, please don't ask me. All the info you need is in there.
  • If you notice a bug or mistake (which I most likely have made a few) please let me know, and I'll try to fix it in the next update. It could be an easy or quick fix.

What's New in Version 1.1.0

Released

  • Updated the 2015 FPIU Patrol base model

@BradMI just thought you might want to know that headrests on the back seats to the impala are see-through from the back. I didn't notice it at first, but now that I do, it's pretty distracting :woot:. That is all. Wonderful pack though.

Oh yeah you're right, I never noticed that either. Seems to be a problem with the dev model. I'll see if I can fix it.

This pack is sheer genius Brad and I hope you keep up this amazing work, but I did run into one issue that I'm not sure how to fix. When the 2013 tahoe spawns in, the back of the lightbar is blacked out so that you can't see the lights, until I change the window tint in the trainer. That would be fine, I'd just change it everytime but the AI spawn in like that also and it looks very interesting lol. Anyways, if there's a fix for this that would be great, but if not, I'm still going to use the pack. :)

Go into the vehicle.meta and find the 'diffusetint' line for whichever slot you put the Tahoe in (SHERIFF2, or FBI2, etc). Replace that value with <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

Ok, cool! I really hope it's an easy fix, as it ruins the immersion a bit, but it's one of my favorite cars. Thanks for looking into it.

I'm not sure what the issue is, could you expand on that a little more or be more specific as to what exactly is happening when you try to download?

First everything's normal, but when it should start downloading the file the little winrar window in the lower left corner says that the file is incomplete so it cant be downloaded. And I retried it a couple times but it was always the same problem:/

Hi guys I need help.

On my SHERIFF2 and FBI2 slots (the SUV and Explorer) all the lights work except the backside of the top lightbar. I have already reinstalled ELS and surfed through the comments trying to find solutions but any help would be appreciated I would really like to use those two models. And on another note the POLICE4 looks like it has barley any lights at all, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks :)

Is the back of the light bar black? If so that sounds like the tint bug. Go into the vehicle.meta and find the 'diffusetint' line for the particular model (SHERIFF2, FBI2, POLICE4, etc). Replace that value with <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />  ... Or simply change the tint in game with a native trainer

I'm having some trouble getting this installed. Been a while since I've played LSPDFR, so I might be rusty installing things. Here is what I did:

- Installed VisualV

- Installed Radiance V

- Installed ELS (verified as working, using CTRL-P to bring up the control panel)

- Installed this car pack (verified cars spawn when called up)

Lights however do not flash at all. I've deleted the mods folder and redid the above steps 4 times and still on luck. Any advice?

Did you put the ELS .xml files in the \Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default folder?

Got any other ELS vehicles? Do they work? Check asiloader.log in your main game folder, make sure you see:

ASI: Loading "E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS.asi"
     "ELS.asi" => 00007FFB39330000

and

ASI: Loading "E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\AdvancedHookV.asi"
     "AdvancedHookV.asi" => 00007FFB545C0000

or similar, and not an error.

I actually don't have a "asiloader.log" file in the GTA5 folder. It does show installed however in OpenIV.

Well this is quickly going offtopic, but you should get one every time you load the game with any type of .asi mods in the game folder. I'd try rebooting and/or removing and reinstalling the OpenIV files under tools, as well as the latest ScriptHookV.

Just downloaded and in OpenIV, the FPIU doesn't have taillights, just a clear gap. I'll run it in game to see if its a glitch

It will look normal in-game.

Sorry. I did reboot, uninstalled ASI loader, rebooted, installed again, rebooted and I can now see the lights on some cars , but they are extremely dim. I verified that the tint fix is already in place. Not sure if it matters, but I installed these into "patchday15ng". Any other suggestions?

I assume you have an asiloader.log now?

Install location shouldn't matter. Try removing the tint with a trainer and see if that makes any difference. If it does, you may have botched the tint flag in vehicles.meta. If not, maybe you just need to edit visualsettings.dat.
