Auto Pursuit Backup 2.0.3

What I have noticed with the toggle is that once you get back into your patrol Vic you have to wait about 15-20 seconds perhaps a little longer to

press num0 and get the Stand down notification from dispatch

Ya same here.  I think what Joshy24 is meaning is that you need to be done with the call.  Turn off lights and sirens and perhaps wait a tad before you press Numpad 0.  to trigger either on or off.  My problem is that I am going to have to rebind that key, because that is my key to browse my trainer menus.

So I've experienced a bit of an issue here, and I'm not sure if it is the plugin or just GTA V being stupid.  Every now and then I'll have the plugin disabled via the hotkey, and after engaging in a pursuit I'll re-enable it.  Right after seeing the prompt that it's active, my fps will drop to about 20 and won't recover until I turn Vsync off.

Anyone else experienced this?

I love the toggle on/off switch for the new update. However, I ran into two problems: 1) Once in a while, when I activate it, it won't pop up the message that tells me that it has been activated so by then I have no clue if it's activated or not. Other times, when the pursuit is over, I can't deactivate it (no message pop up that tells me it has been deactivated), therefore when I get a new call, they just send backups even though I'm just chasing a kidnap case. Does this on/off switch requires your siren off to deactivate and siren on to activate or am I missing something? 2) When the pursuit is over and the suspect is being arrested while the backup were there, the backup would shoot the suspect even though he is already been handcuffed. But when I manually call in back up from the "b-key" with the same scenario I described just now, the backups notice that I am arresting the suspect and everything is under control so they just leave. Please look into this :D

Ya I am running into bug right now with this mod.  It has a message in the upper left hand corner that has a permanent disabled message.  When I try and activate it again it still says disabled, yet I get a "Roger" from dispatch... is it enabled or disabled dispatch?  I am assuming disabled as when I hop in my car and turn on siren no yelling over the radio that I need back up.  Yet I turn it on again,  get a "Roger" from dispatch and the words never go away ever.  Been happening a lot lately.  Think I need to reinstall it?  Other have this issue?

It seems that the notification stops showing up, but I believe the toggle still functions.  Just my observations.

Yes thats correct because I can still hear the dispatcher responding. The only problem about it is that you dont know if its enabled or disabled.

I think you should just try to reinstall it and see if it helps. The problem still persists but I'm sure he's working on a fix so yeah.

Hey I think I know what it might be.  I am suprised no one has even brought it up yet.  A LOT of us have been getting the persistent messages in the top left corner of the screen.  Not just this mod. So check it out.  Rage 0.32 I think has caused some bugs here with persistent messages?  Anyone else agree or am I just the only one here that has noticed this.

Yeah it's a bug with RPH 32, that's why I still use 29.

Well it seems you were the only one that helped me I am sure Joshy would appreciate the help as well.   

So everyone take your RPH down to 0..29  You will not get those stuck notifications on the screen.

I actually am still using 0.29 but the problem is still there. It might be a bug in the mod but I'll stay in 0.29 for now hehe xD

Doesn't work at all. Installed it correctly and when I go to use it, nothing happens.

When i turn this mod on ingame I receive always calls asking for backup by other units, is this normal or is it a bug?

Awesome mod.  But I have a question on how it works.  I set mine to Num0 and that's how I turn it off and turn it on.  There are times where I have it on and I'm responding code 2 (where I don't want backup) and I start having backup called.  So I press Num0 again and it doesn't deactivate it.  When am I able to deactivate it?  When they're at my location?  Then the call is completed?  I HAVE deactivated it I'm just wondering if there is a point in time when you can and when you can't.

Hey there, back from holidays :)
When you're not in a current call and you have your sirens off press and hold (in your case) Num0. You may need to hold it longer (depending on what the custom unitJoinIntervalMs is set at, higher it is the longer you'll have to press)
I'm going to put key presses in a seperate thread so that you can just tap the buttons. For the next update though :)

Thanks for the reply.  I actually kind of figured it out.  I never really knew I had to hold it but I figured out that I can cycle it off and on after maybe 30 seconds of no officers responding (call ended) so that's perfectly fine.  However right now I'm having an issue of the mod not working, I think because of the new update.  I'll try it again (just installed the new RHP) and see if it'll work now.  

Hey will you be updating this for the new version?  I really need this mod!

@Joshy24 Do you think you could update it to interface with the Custom Backup API for people who have that installed?
