Speed Radar 1.3

Do this, Right click the "startup.rphs" file found in your GTA V main directory, Right click file and select open.  It will probably give you another pop up window asking which program does it need to open with, find and open in notepad.  You will see  loadplugin "LSPD First Response.dll"  you can add what I did here and then save.  That way when the game loads up it loads the LSPD First Response and the SpeedRadar as well.

I would delete the one you have added entirely.  Reinstall "make sure your out of game".

Some people are saying they had to put in loadplugin "SpeedRadar.dll"  twice in the startup.rphs file but I didn't seem to have to do this.  Worked fine right out of the gate.  Not sure if this script has anything to do with making sure your Computer itself is up to date with visual c++  but it wouldn't hurt to make sure you have the latest one downloaded since your using scripts.

How do i move the radar around? doesn't say anywhere, not in the readme, and not here...

I am able to load this plugin fine but i find that when i am in a car and i press F5, Rage PluginHook crashes

This is due to Rockstar's latest protections against modding. I'll try to work around it.

Disregard, this is working fine now. I don't know what was going on before.

Really good mod had it working for about 1week and just today i try and use it and it crashes my game and this is the same for 2 other mods

This is a great mod, but now also crashes my game as of the past day or two.  I think something needs updating with this mod...which is bizarre since no GTAV updates of late.

As for Police Radio, download the latest version and install to the Plugin/LSPFR folder...not the plugin folder as before.  I was having issues with PR until I realized I installed into wrong folder.

Can the mod be updated to RageHook 0.22, or will the current version work with it?

I was wondering same thing. i like to always get confirmation on these plugins, mods and scripts.. and its always nice to have everything compatible with the current version as lspdfr and ragehook.

I am on RageHook 0.22 and No luck. If you install the startup.rphs to replace the one in the newest ragehook then Ragehook will NOT run. But if you do put the startup.rphs thats in the folder provided in it works. So a much need update to the "startup.rphs" is needed in order for the radar to work with the newest version.

It says this up top under about this file, in bold *If you already have a startup.rphs file from another mod using the RAGE Hook, simply add "LoadPlugin SpeedRadar" to the file.

If I read that correctly it means you don't need to use the startup.rphs that comes with this download as long as you already have a startup.rphs file. and if that is the case all you have to do is add LoadPlugin SpeedRadar If you don't need the one that comes with the download.. Most people have that file already because it comes with lspdfr when you download it. or I am misunderstanding you because I added LoadPlugin SpeedRadar to my startup.rphs that already existed and it worked fine for me. Like I said maybe I am just not understanding what you are trying to say.

Yea nevermind, I got it to work... just did LoadPlugin -> Speedradar. I couldnt open ragehook before so once I figured that out I got it to work. Sorry for confusion

Good day Straysify, I do not know if you have received this idea before but an idea you could add into the UI is your speed, Like they have in actual police cars. Just an idea but completely up to you :)

I can't get this mod to work.

I have changed my startup.rphs file to include "LoadPlugin SpeedRadar".

I have installed both the dll file and ini file to C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\LSPDFR

Any suggestions.  I haven't copied all the contents of the speed radar folder into main directory cause I don't want to overwrite the startup.rphs file.

Please help.

@9Lincoln20, the files go in the Plugins folder, not in the LSPDF folder, as stated in the Readme

Ok I'll try that. Do I still need to type "LoadPlugin SpeedRadar" into my startup.rphs file. I have other mods like breatherlyser, spotlight, code 3 call outs 

Hey guys. I have installed this mod properly, but I cannot see the red circle marker thingy. I press F6 and the info panel does come up, however I cannot see where the radar is pointing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the latest RPH and GTA.

Hey Stray, as LSPDFR 0.3 was released, does the new API have the ability to tie LSPDFR's vehicle's flags with your Speed Radar's vehicle flags? Thanks in advance.

I cannot get this to work it is in my plugins/LSPDFR folder and it will not show up when I click f5. Please Help.
