Live Air Support v1.0 - Real FLIR Thermal Camera

Features:

  • Press F6 during any pursuit → Police heli "Air-1" spawns and backs you up automatically

  • Press F9 for FLIR → Real thermal camera with zoom, white/black hot toggle, and target lock

  • Tactical Callouts → Air-1 tells you suspect direction + street name

  • Auto RTB → Heli returns to base when pursuit ends or after 15 min to save fuel

FLIR Controls:
F9 = Toggle Camera | PgUp/PgDn = Zoom | T = Thermal Mode | Right Click = Lock Target

No more guessing where suspects went. Air-1 gives you eyes in the sky.

Requirements: LSPDFR 0.4.9+, RagePluginHook 1.95+

Install: Drop .dll into Plugins/LSPDFR/

Released

Camera Movement - Fixed

  • Full gimbal range: 5° to 90° pitch.

  • Better default angle: Starts at 60° down instead of 35° -

  • Mouse deadzone: Added 0.01f threshold so tiny mouse movements don't make it drift.

Phone Conflict - Gone

  • DISABLE_CONTROL_ACTION runs every frame when camera is active. Phone won't pop up anymore when you move the mouse.

  • Toggleable in INI: DisablePhoneInCamera=true

Mouse Control

  • Mouse slewing: Move mouse to pan/tilt when unlocked. Uses GET_DISABLED_CONTROL_NORMAL so it works even with controls disabled.

  • Adjustable sensitivity: MouseSensitivity=2.5 in INI. Crank it up if you want faster slew.

  • Toggleable: Set UseMouseControl=false in INI to go numpad-only.

Auto INI Creation

  • First run now auto-generates LiveAirSupport.ini with all camera settings. No more manual file creation.

  • Includes DefaultPitch=60 so you can change the startup angle without recompiling.

HUD Fixes

  • Pitch angle now displays correctly at bottom center - shows real gimbal position 5° to 90°.

  • Agency name LSPD AIR SUPPORT

Controls now:

  • Mouse - Slew gimbal when unlocked, 5° to 90° down

  • T - Cycle HDEO → White Hot → Black Hot

  • Tab/RMB - Lock target - disables manual slew

  • PageUp/Down - Zoom

  • L - Spotlight

  • O - Orbit

sounds really cool will check it out later but it would be nice to have the option to change the keys in an ini

Will look into it, hopefully it's not a limitation where I can't really move the camera. But yes I would like to make it so you can see the car better

Should auto create the ini once you load plug-in, if it doesn't let me know so I can fix it

    does it create one after loading it? because there is no ini.file in the download. i haven't had a chance to check it out yet

    It should. ill put out an update very soon. you can use this file put it in the same spot as the plugin. LiveAirSupport.zip

    It's not a link, it's a zip. Extract it and put the ini in the same spot as plugin
