PDComp Modernization Pack

Made a little visual refresh for PDComp new icons, a fresh wallpaper, and a matching cursor. Nothing fancy, just wanted the computer to look a bit cleaner and more modern than the default.

Heads up: this was made with AI. The icons and wallpapers were generated using AI tools, and I put everything together and packaged it for PDComp. Just want to be upfront about that so you know what you're downloading.

It comes in a few versions so you can pick whatever fits your setup:

  • Lore-friendly (GTA departments — LSPD, LSSD, etc.)

  • California (real ones — LAPD, LASD, CHP)

  • No-logo wallpaper if you'd rather keep it plain

Just grab the one you want, no need to install all of them.

Install: Just grab the one you want, drop it in your plugin folder (in your main GTA V directory), and that's it.

If I went with the Lore Friendly file how would and drag and dropped; how would I get the City of Los Santos with the beaver and bigfoot to be my background exactly? Thanks.

There are two ways I am aware of

  1. You either open the config.ini and change wallpaper name png to the one you like. In your case that would be:
    [Desktop]
    Wallpaper = desktop-background2.png

    Or while in game open pdComp -> Settings -> Appearance -> Change name of wallpaper png -> Go off duty -> Go back on duty
