Tactical Response Backup

Take control of your backup.
Tactical Response Backup brings a more immersive, tactical, and voice-driven experience to LSPDFR by integrating with Grammar Police, Ultimate Backup, and Callout Interface.

Instead of calling units through menus, this plugin lets dispatch assign backup automatically based on callout priority phrases, or and lets you request any number of units by voice command. All responding units are announced by dispatch and logged in Callout Interface for realism.

  • Automatic tactical backup — Units spawn and respond Code 2 / Code 3 depending on the situation.

  • Dispatch voice realism — Unit names are announced by dispatch and logged in MDT.

  • Voice-controlled requests — Call for any number of units at once using Grammar Police.

I can see the units in the callout interface, but no units appear when I am at the scene.

Make sure GrammarPolice and UltimateBackup are installed. If they are installed upload your ragepluginhook.log

Paste your ini file, and tell me an example of a callout pack you are using ? make sure you include phrases/words in the ini and you have callout packs with these names

I just remembered that I still have an older version of the game, with an older lspdfr version and older GrammerPolice. I'll get back to you once I've updated everything. My bad, sorry.

The community needed something like this!

 

Do you think you can make the backup units match our ELS stage once on scene? In most code 2 situations unless its a traffic stop 

the backup would not have lights going.  If you can add this it will help the realism. 

 

ex: if you show up to a shoplifting call you would not be running lights, so when back up arrives they shouldn't run lights either.   Would be the same for any residential call like a burglary, everyone would arrive no lights and keep it no lights.

Hey, so I see nothing in the logs cause the plugin works fine. There is only a slight issue you have in the ini, but it is not related to this issue.
BackupCallSignDivision = 7-ADAM
This should be only number so it should be
BackupCallSignDivision = 7

As for your issue. This plugin is not fully plug and play, since there is a lot of callout packs it would be hard for me to gather data of all callouts (atleast for now to make it work on install). If you want units to respond to gang shootout. ( or any callout but lets use gang shootout as example).

Open the Ini, go to 

[HighPriority]
MinUnits = 3
MaxUnits = 5
Phrases = terrorist attack, car bomb, hostage situation, kidnapping, person with firearm, murder, shooting, shots fired, active shooter, homicide, store robbery

and add in the Phrases shootout or you can add the full callout name so it does not conflict with other calls if it includes shootout. So Phrases will be

Phrases = terrorist attack, car bomb, hostage situation, kidnapping, person with firearm, murder, shooting, shots fired, active shooter, homicide, store robbery, Shootout
or
Phrases = terrorist attack, car bomb, hostage situation, kidnapping, person with firearm, murder, shooting, shots fired, active shooter, homicide, store robbery, Gang Shootout

Etc if you have a call that shows for example gang homicide, you would add either word, or the full phrase. like "gang homicide", or "gang", or "homicide".

Also add them in the priority of what you want for example low priority, backup responds code 2, medium and high code 3. you can adjust minimum and max number of units in the ini.

Hey thank you for your words.

To edit backup properties, I would either need to edit UltimateBackup functions which is not available, or try to create a new backup system :D. That is too much work tbh. to spawn no lights + sirens is not available in UltimateBackup IIRC. So I made it low priority only lights, while medium and high priority lights + sirens

Hey, I don't understand which dispatch audio you mean 😄 ? I am using BlueLines Dispatch audio for the dispatch voice.
Or do you mean the unit announcements ?

One small QOL suggestion would be add the option to not have a division for any of the responding units. Not sure if this would be possible or not, but it would make the format match my callsign, SAM-81.
