About This Mod

Campus Callouts is a fully scripted LSPDFR callout pack focused on ULSA located near Rockford Hills. You’ll respond to realistic campus incidents like fights, stalking, protests, trespassers, and even a school shooter scenario. As someone who loves the niche part of police calls, I decided to expand on Abel Gaming's University Callouts to introduce a fresh new scene to the university we all know and love! Each callout was scripted with immersion and replayability in mind. Whether you're calming a protest or chasing down a clown, there's always something new happening on campus.

The Origin

This pack was built with full permission from @Abel Gaming, who originally created University Callouts. Six callouts from his original mod were adapted, edited, and expanded for this project:

Installation Instructions

Download and extract the ZIP archive
Drag and drop the lspdfr and plugins folders, as well as the included .dll files into your GTA V directory
Overwrite if prompted
Launch the game via RagePluginHook and go on duty

The .ini file allows you to adjust keybinds and toggle features.
Located at: Plugins/LSPDFR/CampusCallouts.ini

IMPORTANT:
If you’re not using Blueline Dispatch, make sure this setting is set to False to avoid missing audio

Updating Campus Callouts

IMPORTANT:
If you're updating from a previous version, delete the old CampusCallouts - Audio folder inside LSPDFR/Audio/Scanner/. Several unused audio files have been removed and replaced with smaller NAudio-compatible ones.

Backup your CampusCallouts.ini If you've customized keybinds
Delete the old audio folder
Install the new version as described above
Replace files if prompted
Launch the game via RagePluginHook

v1.0.2 – The why the hell did I not make these fixes in the previous update, Update. (I didn't know)

Core Improvements

Added dependency checks for CalloutInterfaceAPI.dll and NAudio.dll With log warnings if missing.

Killer Clown

Optimized hostile clown behavior using RelationshipGroups and FightAgainstClosestHatedTarget.
Nearby peds now react to danger and flee properly when clowns are triggered.

School Shooter

Nearby civilians react and flee realistically when the shooter is nearby.
Shooter behavior and blip logic are refined for combat engagement.

Immersion Details

Peds in Noise Complaint and Underage Drinking now hold beer bottles in their left hand with proper animation

v1.0.1 – The 686 Update

General Improvements

File size significantly reduced thanks to the new NAudio system. You no longer need bloated WAV files for simple background effects as the mod now uses compressed, looped playback via NAudio, keeping things lightweight and stable.
Crash fixes and better cleanup handling have been added to prevent errors when callouts are ended manually or prematurely.
Updated README and install instructions, making everything easier to understand for new users and modders.

If you are updating from v1.0.0, you MUST delete the old CampusCallouts - Audio folder inside LSPDFR/Audio/Scanner/. Some files are no longer used and may cause issues if left behind.

New Audio System (Powered by NAudio)

The outdated Windows Media Player dependency has been fully replaced by a much cleaner and more modern system using NAudio.
Background music (like in Protest or Noise Complaint) now loops automatically, is lighter on performance, and plays more reliably.
No more freeze/crash issues for users on Windows N or those missing WMP.
It requires an included NAudio.dll file

Noise Complaint Callout Overhaul

Noise Complaint is now a fully interactive callout, not just a recycled scene.
Player is guided to the backyard, hears party audio, and speaks to a designated partygoer.
