What is Forestry Callouts?

Forestry Callouts is a callout pack that allows the player to play as a park ranger. Respond to ATV pursuits, dead animals, animal attacks, and more! Forestry Callouts was made in 2020 and released again in 2023 after I let it go for a while during university. Forestry Callouts 2.0 is fully integrated with Callout Interface and strives for realism patrolling and customization!

Features

Licenses ~ Ask any ped for hunting or fishing licenses

Binoculars ~ Choose between 6 different textures

Animal Control ~ Call animal control to pick up a dead animal

Menu ~ Forestry Callouts menu with settings

Callsign ~ Change callsign in INI settings

Customization ~ Lots of customization from keys to vehicles

GrabPed ~ Grab any ped dead or alive (WIP)

Distance Checker ~ Starts random non-forestry callouts call if the player
is too far from the chunk (you won't get forestry callouts calls if you're not close to the forest/wilderness).

HI Swed! Thanks for the suggestion, I will be adding a Possible Illegal Fishing callout sometime in the future, most likely soon, I just haven't got around to figuring out how to do that call, if you have any more ideas for fishing / game agency type stuff lmk. I'm just now getting back into coding sense my vacation last week.

This is a great replacement for Wilderness Callouts which hasn't been updated in a few years.

Restrict callouts to Blaine County please, thanks- suggest having a ini option to set distance for callouts to generate.

Callouts are restricted to Paleto Forest, Cassidy Trail, Raton Canyon area. having an Ini option like that would take awhile as I would have to rewrite all my spawn point functions. Thanks for the suggestion though.

This is a great pack because there is very little content for wild life conservation officers. Do you think you could add some more variety to the pack? more fishing and hunting/poaching and animal callouts?

This is great one of my favorite callouts! But unfortunately you can no longer disable all callouts, I hope that get fixed anytime soon!

i like this callout only thing is when trying to talk to the person and charge them there really isnt much to say or charge them with is there anyway of getting a forestry charges and citations

Not sure if this is a problem with my game or the callout plugin. Ever since this last update I wont get a single call from this pack and even trying to force a call with my callout manager nothing works. Can anybody help me out? Other than this little issue I love this plugin

I had the same issue. Go into the config settings in the plugins folder and change DisableAllCallouts = true to DisableAllCallouts = false.

With the 1.2.5 update you will have to go into the ForestryCallouts.ini and set “DisableAllCallouts” option to false. As I accidentally set it to true by default.

Could you please add a hunting and fishing report, but it would not always be illegal because you could check the licenses with the "Stop The Ped" plugin

I already have this in the callout. Illegal Hunting and Fishing callouts. I have created my own version of Fishing and Hunting licenses that you can check when you get on scene and see if there actually fishing illegally.

It's still working. With callout manager, if it's failed to start a call meaning you're too close to that call's spawn location; move further away and try again.

Just a quick suggestion to the author:

It would be great if you could add a callout distance checker.

With that I won't be receiving Park Ranger callouts while patrolling in Downtown Los Santos; I would receive these calls only when I'm patrolling as a Park Ranger and within that jurisdiction.

Hi! I am having some problems with your callout. Specifically, the "Ranger requesting backup" callout. The callout itself works well, unless you are near the Paleto Forest Shawmill. When you are nearby, it crashes the RagePluginHook.
If you are responding from other locations the callout works fine.
