This mod is not causing tasers to be deadly. Likely something else effecting your game.

Deadly Weapons is a plugin for LSPDFR to add a more dangerous feel to guns. GTA makes people sponges for gameplay, but LSPDFR aims for a more realistic approach.

 

With deadly weapons I increase damage taken by weapons for both the player and AI. Damage varies between limbs and whether the ped is wearing armor or not. It also introduces new auto panic button behavior for when the player fires their weapons.

My first experience with this mod was pulled over a guy for speeding, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident and as I was calling backup though the ultimate backup menu he stepped out of the car and one tapped me. It scared the absolute shit outta me. 10/10 mod 😃

Hello, thanks for the mod. It works great in fights between Player vs AI and AI vs Player, but it seems that AI vs AI it doesn't affect... 
My buddy partner has to shoot and hit 5-6 times to kill a person, while for me one hit is enough.
 Same with the partner, surviving multiple hits seems not fair..

I tried to have it check AI vs AI but it causes major lag to the game. So I chose not to have it for the sake of playing with more than 10 FPS.

I like the concept but I feel like the implementation isn't that great, not sure if its limitations with GTA or what, but I am getting 1 shot killed by a body shot while wearing armor. A bit over the top to be honest. I wish it come with customizable damage multipliers and that took in to account the type of weapon you were shot with, rifles would do more damage than a hand gun, where you were shot (if that's even possible) and if you have armor on or not.

It does check if you have armor or not. With armor you will not die with 1 shot. Not sure why it's doing that on your end

The mod is so cool but i have a problem. Me and random people die with 1 or 2 bullets but in a callout, the suspect doesn't die,at least he needs 9-10 bullets (like GTA vanilla) I was looking for an option on ini file but i couldn't find it to charge this. Its a bug or something thanks!!

PD: Only doesn´t work with suspects on callouts

If the callout dev made the peds have more health, then that is why.

I suggest you add an interesting feature to your plugin to make it even more realistic. When you shoot a suspect with a taser in the head, heart, or any important organs where don't need to shoot with a taser, then the person dies or becomes injured. I think this is a not bad function, how do you like the idea, author of this plugin?

Taser wont kill someone for shooting them there 99% of the time. I was considering making the taser have a fair chance of failing actually, as in IRL it's easy for one of the prongs to miss or just get a bad hook.

Well, in fact, it would be nice if the taser shot cartridges one shot at a time, like in real life, and for the taser to recharge for a long time, this would create more immersion in the game and add realism, and then something other than the taser could be used. for example pepper spray or a baton, then it would be cool!

Unfortunately, the plugin does not work with the "Watch Your Death" plugin, I would like this error to be fixed

They both do things when the character dies, it will never be compatible.

Hey man, great plugin! Really brings immersion to a whole new level! 

I just have one issue with it:

I cant get the AI accuracy modifier to work...

Even with it all the way down to 5 the peds still have aimbot... Most of the times I'm down before even getting my gun out of the holster, despite having body armor and a partner engaging the ped...

Any idea what might be the issue? I'm using "better AI cops combat behavior" by Payn and I installed this AFTER I installed Deadly Weapons. Could that be messing with the ped's accuracy and somehow overwrite the settings in the Deadly Weapons .ini?

Im not sure, possible it may conflict but the accuracy issue is related to how this plugin tracks peds. The way I made it was so that it only tracks a ped once you have aimed at it. I've tried other methods, but the issue is that it causes pretty bad lag. Basically it's a vanilla ped until you aim at it.

hi, i love the mod thanks for the effort. But got a question, while i can kill them in 5-6 shots(chest and bottom), they kill me in 1-2 shots(same). Is this mod only modifies ped or either player?

Maybe you are in a custom callout where their health is increased, or you use another mod that may make changed. This effects peds the same as the player.

Hello. I have a small problem. NPCs kill me with 1-2 bullets, but I have to shoot 4-5 bullets at them. I've tried any NPC in town and it's the same. UPDATE: I reboot pc and now i can kill them with 1 bullet somehow xd. TY for this mod

Sorry if this has already been asked, but could you upload an optional version which makes it affect AI vs AI? I know it may cause performance issues but I'd be ok with that as long as its around a 50% performance loss.

It's more of a 95% performance loss after like 10 minutes of playing. I entirely deleted the other version. I mean with a 3900x and 2080 super I would drop from over 100 FPS on LSPDFR to under 5 after a couple minutes.
