Deadly Weapons is a plugin for LSPDFR to add a more dangerous feel to guns. GTA makes people sponges for gameplay, but LSPDFR aims for a more realistic approach.

With deadly weapons I increase damage taken by weapons for both the player and AI. Damage varies between limbs and whether the ped is wearing armor or not. It also introduces new auto panic button behavior for when the player fires their weapons.

Reduce AI's aimbot with this mod:

Pretty cool!. I was using the " Gun Shot Wound Mod " but sadly it's no longer being updated. With LCPDFR I always played with " Hardcore " mode on and was sad when I saw LSPDFR did not have such Hardcore option. However I'm glad I still have your plugin to fall back on!. IMO LSPDFR without such a mod is way too easy. You can literally take over 20 pistol rounds , tens of rifle rounds and are just a sponge to all incoming fire by default. There is no sense of risk or exposure or danger at all. But with mods like this all it takes is one shot and your an officer down call. And that's what I like. You have to be sharp, take cover and be quick on the draw if needed. And getting into gunfights even 1 v 2 is nearly a death sentence, let alone fighting more armed suspects. This plugin MAKES you use all the backup you call. Unlike in Vanilla you can clear whole scenes yourself, and by the time most code 3 units even arrive they are just mopping up what you left behind. Not with Deadly Weapons, you will actually have to depend on your backup too!.

I mean you are spot on. When I would test my swat related callouts I made I always was disappointed because no matter how many bad people with assault rifles I spawned I could clear it quickly and easily. Now I can't using this haha so i'm glad other people feel the same way.

I like the plugin a lot, but i feel like the player is a little to fragile. I have full armor and die from a pistol shot to the foot from 500m away,thats a little overkill. Or is it possible that me dieing so fast is connected to my euphoria ragdoll overhaul?

With body armor 1 bullet will not kill you no matter what unless you set head shot damage to 100 and get hit in the head.

I guess that is connected to my Ragdoll Overaul then, because i´ve been killed a lot of times by 1 bullet with 100 armor. Thanks for the answer. 🙂

nope I got the same issue aswell keep getting one shotted.

I have similar problem. But just like Phil I have euphoria ragdoll overhaul installed. If anyone has a solution, I will be grateful for your help. 😄

Update has been posted with a fix. Just waiting for LSPDFR to approve it.

Hey, might just be a misstake, but you renamed the .dll to DeadlyWeapons2.dll which doesn´t remove the old one when you just copy it into your gta folder

Hello and thank you for the great plugin. I simply cannot do without it. I was wondering, though, if there is any way to make the Firearm patdown item generated by DW go into Evidence for Stop The Ped so it can be serial checked?

Unfortunately I do not think I can do that. I can look into it though.
