Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

I might rework how the plugin finds when to make the traffic stop menu available, although its weird that happens because the traffic stop menu shouldn't open if the ped is out of the car and arrested. I will have to look into it a little more, might be a weird interaction with the new way LSPDFR does traffic stops

Okay, I'm now completely unable to create an arrest report 😞

 

Image 001 shows the info gathered by Interaction+ after asking for ID.

Image 002 shows loads of info (including the lady I arrested) - not sure where the rest of it came from though?

Image 003 shows me being unable to create an arrest report despite the fact the suspect has been arrested and can be seen kneeling next to my patrol car in all three images.

 

Worked fine pre-update.

Have you tried not asking for the ID after they are arrested? That may reset their computer entry and the logic to make the arrest reports available might be reset. Try either using the automatic entry on traffic stops or do it before the ped is arrested for now, I will look into a fix

I know this has been mentioned but I’m still having trouble with all my emergency vehicles that once I arrest the ped. I put back in the car to detain and he gets out and steals my car. I have the latest version please help?

When storing items I still get key presses to go through, for example when pressing ''B'' I get ultimate backup's menu and pressing ''G'' I get STP context menu (but only after pressing enter). But when I press ''M'' the LSPDFR Interaction menu does not  pop up, so its blocking some key presses, just not all of them (may be plugin specific). 

 

 

PS: I have not experienced the issue with not being to access the arrest report after arresting the suspect on 2.2.5. Tried multipule things asking ID before arrest/before/both (I could even write a arrest report after I uncuffed a ped and let him go lol)

Asking for ID before arresting a ped worked fine, but the circumstances around this arrest didn't allow for that to happen. I'll stick with 2.2.4 in the meantime as it's working well enough at the moment 👍

Yeah, I'm starting to think Bejoljo's plugins just don't respond to the blocking of input, which if they don't then there's nothing I can do about it. I will need to test more to confirm.

2.2.4 should have the same issue, I have not touched this function in the newest update so it should be exactly the same code.

Thank you for the controller support, could you please make it so when I scroll thru the computer menu it is not affecting other things in the background like my siren or when I press A to enter the entry,  it cancel my traffic stop. We should be able to navigate thru the computer menu in his own menu. If you need help testing let me know. For me having that and STP integration, you could take a well deserved break after those included. Keep it up

I will have to look into blocking controller input while the menu is open, thanks for the suggestions 🙂

One thing I note is that the ped has a yellow icon on the map instead of a red one. Usually an arrested ped shows a red one when STP takes the arrest, so perhaps that explains it.

 

Well, except that it's only one of the images, so I'm not sure.

I usually make all my arrests via STP. The exception is with a fleeing suspect; I use the default LSPDFR hold X button(s) to arrest the ped while they are face down on the ground. In this instance (the one in the pictures) the arrest was made via STP. I have noticed that an arrested ped's icon can be different colours, but I never knew why.

I translated into Russian xml files from the plugin, if someone needs to - download from here
There is also a translation from the StopThePed plugin.

Unfortunately, most of the text of the plugin is in the dll, which is not legal to change, and illegally I do not want. Therefore, if the authors of the plugin give me access to the textual component of the plugin, I will be happy to assist in the translation into Russian.

I miss the option: Driving while Drunk or while on Drugs for the "write citation"

 

Or is that an instant arrest, and then in the arrest report

 

Oh I saw: its not like traffic policer, I have to arrest when Driving under Influence then it's in the arrest report.

I have been getting crashes, and I removed all plugins, put them one by one then last to cause a crash was this, both the .4 and .5 updates.

 

and after, nothing I do fixed lspdfr ... I have to reinstall everything agaiRagePluginHook.logn

Yeah, in America it is an automatic arrest for driving under the influence, so there is no citation option. You can edit the Charges and Citations XML files to better suit your needs :)

Try running both the game and RagePluginHook as administrator, should fix this issue :)

I have not had any of the issues being recently reported, but I ran into a different one, it is minor.


When issuing a ticket or warning to a stopped vehicle, the ped is not released.  I am having to open the default interaction menu to release the ped after issuing a summons/ticket or warning.  Is it possible to maybe just add a "dismiss ped(s)" option in the menu?

Interaction+ is not meant as and probably never will be a replacement for the default LSPDFR stop function or STP stop function, it is recommended to use my plugin in conjunction with either of those to have better control over the peds. However, if you are issuing a ticket to a driver on a traffic stop that is still in their vehicle, they will wait until you return to your vehicle to drive away. If the ped is outside of the vehicle and you are only using the Interaction+ menu to control them, they should return to their car after the preset time in the .ini file (default 30 seconds)

Hello!
Rage crashes every time I stop the peds on the car and they attack me. This may be a firearm, a knife or a taser - it does not matter.
I have a licensed Russian game.

And there is a problem with the encoding. Since the names of the districts are in Russian, when I write out a parking ticket in the wrong place, I see strange characters instead of normal English or Russian. I'm not sure what encoding the plugin uses, but utf -8 should solve such problems, I hope.

There appears to be a bug with the intoxicated ped percentage. I recently had to lower it to 0.00 because of how frequently there were intoxicated peds. However, even at 0, there are still back-to-back intoxicated peds.

Could you make it so there is no timer on peds who are cuffed? I had cuffed peds who id put to the side while I was dealing with another person and then after a certain amount of time they would just go back to their car and drive off.

Just had a crash during a regular traffic stop (crash to desktop even). Called for traffic stop backup, walked up to the driver window and then crashed.

@Phaxol could you please check that "Ped.Dismiss()" statements is only applied to non-arrested ped?

Sorry but if it were that easy the issue would have been fixed by now, here is my logic before every line of dismissal in the dismiss ped code:

There are 5 different checks to make sure the ped is not arrested, getting arrested, stopped by STP, or being interacted with by my plugin before being dismissed. This puts me in a tight spot because if I remove the functionality, peds will just stand there indefinitely after you are done interacting if the user is not using STP or the default LSPDFR stop to dismiss them. There are a couple ideas I am toying around with, such as making STP a requirement and only letting the Interaction+ menu open on traffic stops and if the ped is stopped by STP, rewriting the dismissal function and hoping for the best, or making a "Dismiss Ped" option in the menu for each ped, which would still mean having to code the same dismissal function in case the player leaves the area without dismissing the ped. As of right now, I'm not really sure which path to take but will probably just completely rewrite the function in the future

Most likely the ped object became null and caused a crash, which can happen randomly while playing. My plugin cannot access the ped object anymore because it has been made null through some unknown mechanism which causes a full crash, there's really no fix but to restart the game; just a complication that arises from heavily modifying the game and having many moving parts working on the same object
