    • Get observations for any ped
      • Automatic traffic stop observations for all occupants
      • Gets status of ped including mood, behavior, and signs of intoxication

    • Store any evidence you find in any police vehicle

    • Narcotics stored in your evidence can be tested using reagent test kits in your trunk
      • Positive tests are automatically stored in evidence

  • Automatic Pursuit Updates
    • When in a pursuit, will automatically give information on the speed and direction that the suspect vehicle is heading.

    • Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest
    • There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file

Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

so i have to use Interaction + to ask for ID and stuff.. because the (normal) lspdfr ask for ID is weird.. he wants to keep walking into the car while asking for ID... and i use interaction for all other things like questions and stuff.. but i use the (normal) lspdfr menu to get them out of the car so i can interact with them (arrest, detain, pat down)

Thinking about it, I had this happen to me last night. Interaction+ stopped working after I completed a traffic stop and the interaction menu (vanillia) had gone from blue/white to grey/white. Everything else worked as normal however.

You don't have Traffic Policer installed correctly, it is needed for the plugin to run. Without it the game will always crash when approaching on traffic stops/observing suspects.

I do not use the vanilla interaction menu so I will have to test out how they interact, I recommend using StopThePed as I know the two plugins work fine together.

For STP: Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR\StopThePed - There are three .XML files here.

If you're trying to add to them rather than replace them, open them with notepad (or similar) and copy any lines across. Make sure you place them in the correct section and that the tags all line up (i.e <Item> </Item>)

 

JBuzz826: I'll have a look and try a few bits out. Could work. I'm sure however, pre-Interaction+, standing at the rear of the vehicle and pressing E/RightDPad wouldn't instruct the ped to get out.

 

 

@LostBoyLazarus yeah I’ve not had issues standing at the trunk of the patrol vehicle. I do know the ini can be edited for stp. Hope that works for you.

No, i can start the game, pull someone over ... use interaction as my "Ask for ID" ask them to exit... and immediately try to handcuff them using lspdfr standard controls. ive tested this way with your mod and LSPDFR+... i use LSPDFR+ to exit as well and try to arrest with LSPDFR standard arrest/detain and nothing happens.  so im thinking my controller is messed up.. i walk away to another ped.. and have no problem arresting them..

all tested with a fresh game with three theories.. and as up right now  ^^  this the the only one working for me.

Sorry I've only just replied - mod was waiting approval so comments were locked out (thanks for the update BTW.)

 

I see the new update potentially fixes this (thanks again) however yes, I only experienced it the once and that was after an hour or so of game play.

I don't really understand your issue aside from mod conflicts with your .ini settings?

 

I also use a controller and had massive issues getting everything to work together correctly. My recommendation is to use StopThePed and Interaction+ rather than LSPDFR+. You can approach the vehicle and gain obs via Interaction+, ask for ID via Interaction+, run PedCheck via radio or from your vehicle using Interaction+'s lite computer system, order the suspect out of the car using Interaction+ and interact with the suspect using STP (which has an arrest function.) You can still use vanilla arrest for cuffing suspects in circumstances where it's required. I personally no longer have frisk assigned as I use STP's search function by default. This has minimal controller configuration when setup carefully and stops unnecessary/duplicate functions from other mods conflicting. Of course, do whatever works best for you 🙂

I was just wondering, does the "Store Evidence" impact the sentencing of the court? Like if I store evidence of say narcotics during the arrest, does that impact the length of time the suspect may serve for jail time?

Phaxol, I've noticed that with the latest update a person's ID disappears from the lite computer system very quickly. For example:

- Initiate a traffic stop.

- Suspect flees.

- Suspect surrenders.

- Arrest suspect via LSPDR default arrest action.

- Perform pat down of suspect via STP's menu.

- Search suspect's vehicle via STP's menu.

- Enter patrol vehicle and view Interaction+ lite computer system. Noted that both the suspect's name and vehicle are registered.

- Check vehicle details.

- Leave patrol vehicle to check something.

- Return to patrol vehicle to assign arrest charges but can only view suspect's vehicle.

- Perform a pat down again to regain information however this fails to update the system.

- Forced to ask suspect for ID to continue with a charge.

 

I didn't notice this issue before.

- Return to patrol vehicle to assign arrest charges but can only view suspect's vehicle.

- Perform a pat down again to regain information however this fails to update the system.

- Forced to ask suspect for ID to continue with a charge.

 

I didn't notice this issue before.

 

Damn I was kinda worried that would happen, I made a change to get rid of some unnecessary log errors but it seems it prevented the time refresh for arrested peds, making them get deleted faster. Looks like there will be another small update coming, I guess I should have tested that before release lol

As @LostBoyLazarus, I noticed that the integrated computer doesn't collect peds information obtained via STP. On the other hand, is it possible to change the computer keybind? I didn't find any reference in the .ini file.

we got another prob. when i stop a fella on the street and press y witch  pulls up the Interaction menu i cant look them up unless i arrest them. can you fix it please. i should be able to look them up with out arresting them right

You must first ask for the ped's ID through the Interaction+ menu, I'm going to talk to Bejoljo and see if he would be interested in making the two plugins work together

How'd ya go fixing that issue with the mod stopping working, mate? I haven't been playing for a bit and wont be able to in the future for a while. Hope ya found a fix.

I was just doing a walk and turn test when the suspect pulled a gun out and began shooting at me. That's not a problem, the problem was my guy was frozen so I ended up taking 12 to the chest.

Cool, hopefully just an easy API function.

 

Still seeing peds disappear from the computer pretty quick, vehicles tend to stay around for quite a while, and I see this message in the log:

It's right at the top of the .ini. You have to select the computer via that menu - I don't think there is a keybind specifically to access the computer and bypass the menu:

The mod works great. There are a few problems I've found though. I don't know if It's just me, but the vehicles never disappear in the computer system. Also, if there's a stolen vehicle with the car alarm going off, the person who stole it stays as a registered owner of said vehicle. Other than that, the mod is perfect.

I've found it's the same key as for interacting, since I changed it from Y to I and now I both interact and open the computer with I.

Ah, fair enough. Mine is default but with a modifier of "LShiftKey". I think most of my keys have been changed as I use a controller anyway.

Me too. Btw, have you configured any modifier controller button for traffic stops? I'm tired of cancelling traffic stops when using Interaction+ computer or any RageNative UI menu, but I don't know which button wouldn't interfere with GTA vehicle actions 😂

I use "DPadUp" and "A" for traffic stops. I also have my radio bound to DPadUp but with a holding rule (so it will only work if I hold it for X amount of time.) DPadUp otherwise only functions in menus (as is intended) or works for other things with other modifiers (i.e I use it in ELS AS WELL.) That frees A to be used for menu selections etc without cancelling the traffic stop.

Is it arrested peds you see dissappearing quickly or just peds you have ID'd? Have you tried upping the default time in the .ini file? And that other one is a known bug that's been around forever. Once I have time to talk to Bejoljo I might just remove the part of the code that I think is causing that weird interaction. I can never get it to consistently reproduce itself in my game, it seems almost random if it happens or not.

I will have to look into the vehicles not deleting more, I thought I had fixed the issue but I guess not. As for the stolen vehicle registration name, unfortunately this seems to be a bug with the LSPDFR API as I use the provided function "GetVehicleOwnerName" to return the registration status. Either LSPDFR is setting the name incorrectly, or what ever spawned that random car stealing event did.
