Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released June 28, 20241 yr

Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

yes game crash when ELS.asi is installed when I take it out it loads.

Good morning but before this update of Gta5 was fine??
I have re-downloaded els but no only put the file els.api and ini is then I downloaded apart l, other plugin file because the one inside els is the one not updated.

Download els and insert and download and insert this

Anyone else having problems with AdvancedHookV_b3258 i install it and my game crashes. when i install the AdvancedHookV thats in the els zip folder i get a error message but the game works but no els ?? any ideas on what could be the issue? please help and thanks in advance.

me too game won't load with els.asi file.

Make sure you have nightly 105 version of script hook V installed. I installed latest version and the game now loads when before it would crash instantly upon the game attempting to boot up.

nevermind found a faulty vcf file that kept crashing ELS. Works fine now with ne AdvancedHookV_b3258.

Having an issue with ELS crashing my game. I get to the point of selecting story mode and then the screen goes black and I have to open task man to be able to force stop the game. Brand new ELS copy and there are no vehicles in the files. The newest version of advanced scripthook is installed and runs fine on its own. I found when I remove "els.asi" but keep the other ELS files, the game loads (obviously no ELS), but when I add "els.asi" back, it crashes in the same spot. Any fixes or recommendations to fix?

I can get the game to load, none of my ELS Light bars work. Please can we get more details?

if i load with old advancehookV i get the error everyone else has, and when i press F4 to load plugins it doesn'r crash. if i update ELS advancehookV to get it to load, when i pressF4 to load plugins it crashes... did get it to run once... ???

Like everyone else is saying, I used the ELS v1.05 with that versions advancehookV and it pops up with an ELS.asi error but I press okay on the error and can still load into the game but the ELS doesn't work. I download the new advancehookV b3258 but this one makes the game completely crash whilst loading in on the loading screen. So there's no way around it to play with ELS atm. But weirdly enough (like carpless said above) I got it to run once and it worked fine but now I've tried numerous more times it's the same crash each time.

could you pin this.... if your having problems with the new advncehookV.dll and you use scripthookdotnet.... update scripthookdotnet to latest version .92 and it all loads for me....

SHVDN isn't an ELS requirement - it's additional software you've installed. I don't think it's relevant to pin.

I accidently had my "scrlk" button engaged on my keyboard , it kept my els from working all good now

Game not working with new update. Keeps crashing on Loading screen (not even able to load into game. Downloaded Advance hook for Latest game build but still no luck 😞

no lights on els working now that sucks i haven't used els in a bit so i was hoping to geta few patrols but yes i tried both versions and i cant not get the lights to do anything
