Yes, you need to go into your carcols.ymt and set the sequencer for that siren setting to 0.

I've tried pulling people over, but they seem to go in a straight line and crash into things. When you do get them to stop, they do so in the middle of the street. When i honk to tell them to get a new spot, they drive off. Can anybody help?

I've been busy for a few weeks but when I played last I switched ElsTrafCtrlOn = true to false in the ELS config file in GTA V main directory.

I'm actually jsut getting out of game looking for a fix that doesn't turn ELS traffic control off.

use traffic policer by Albo for easier pullovers

you can have vehicle: mimic, follow, or set marker for custom location

Any way I can take blackout off my right bumper? It's super annoying when it interferes with my indicators. I obviously don't want to have to completely disable controller.

I have returned to GTA V after a few days and I installed a new ELS car but now when I am in game, when I turn on all stages, just the tail lights flash back and forth and none of the other lights work... Please help...

**EDIT** For anyone that has this issue, Restart your computer and it will work again!

hey, i am having a minor problem, my AI is driving WITHOUT lights and siren when in code 3..

this is how i setted up my ini file.

[ GENERAL ]
MaxActiveVehs = 40
ElsMaxRangePl = 800
ElsMaxRangeAi = 500
ElsActiveOnAi = true
ElsTrafCtrlOn = false

Hey just curious if Im the only one, but rockstar released a small patch, and now els doen'st work, sirens come on, but no lights....

I am running "make visuals great again", Could that be causing problems?

problem solved, turns out  OfficerHackneyGaming  was right, restarting the computer seemed to have worked.

Can you put more audio strings like FBI siren please?

Any advice for someone having issues? I've followed numerous video tutorials and after installing a ELS-enabled vehicle to mods folder, and then the ELS vcf file in the ELS folder, no matter what - upon trying to turn on my lights in game, they just don't turn on. My tail lights will flicker as if the car lights should be on, and i can open the ELS panel which reads they are in fact on, but the light bars all remain dark. (I have visual mods installed and have tried without, so it isn't a visual bug - there is something not working at all with my ELS - lights on non-els look great). 

I've tried with multiple els cars, and none of their lights work. Thanks in advance.

Just wondering, in the VCF what do you type to use the Scan function as the default pattern. I tried SCN and SCAN in the according section but in game it doesn't scan. 

ELS won't work for me. No lights will flash until I go to my third phase, and then only the tail lights will flash. ELS is loading because I can bring the box up, and hear the clicking. I have done the following:

Full Reinstallation of Advanced Hook V.dll

Full Reinstallation of Script Hook V

Full Reinstallation of ELS

PC Reboot

What else can cause this?

@Lt.Caine can you add the ability to change the siren that the model use, or there currently is then please tell me how to do so

Literally the best mod out there. I have an issue however. My lights stopped working as of today, not sure why, none of my cars work just out of the blue, no recent mods or anything installed.

Many people have had this, including my self. Also, different things have helped people. For me I had to re install ELS because my c deleted advanced script hookV 

which is is needed to run ELS properly. 

Some pepole have restarted there PC and that fixed it.

like I said different things have been working. Sounds like there is not a 100% correct way to fix it.

So I had ELS 1.05 working until I hadnt played for about a week now none of my lights work except the rear flashers in the taillights. It doesnt seem to matter which car models i use. any clue as to whats up with that? was there an update somewhere Im missing?

A lot of people are having the same issue. There is no "real" fix yet. I had the issue but after three installs of ELS  it finally worked.

So i reinstalled the AdvancedhookV and restart my PC and it seems to have fixed it. its just weird cause its never done it before this week.

 Glad its fixed. Same for me. It randomly happened then I got it fixed, now everyone is having the issue.

I love this mod. Epic. However I am having an issue with the brightness of lights. How do I make them brighter like the attached.

My current one is the 4x4, and I want them like the vic also attached.

would be nice not to end a pursuit with a crash and I'm not talking game or rage crash. I think this mod is cool but for this one issue.

If you PC can handle it also turn up Post FX as high as you PC will take in the settings in game.

Hi, i would very much appreciate some help!

Iv'e been using ElS without any problems since release, until today when i decided to try RDE.

After installing RDE without any problems, the ELS cars didn't have any functional lightning. I tried to reinstall some things, but it didn't work. So i deleted my mods folder, and installed my backed up mods folder that I used before installing RDE. But now I have the same problem. I have tried another time to reinstall ELS, deleted any remains from RDE that I found and so on, but nothing has changed. 

Anyone have a clue?

I have a problem with police lights , don't work . Siren and panel work but lights not . I press j and nothing . Before everything work but now lights don't work . Please help me :(  I installed everything according to the instructions and i reinstalled my GTA V and the same problem
