This is a comprehensive collection of charges and citations for CompuLite, there is a lot of charges that are realistic and actual statutes. It will take some time to get used to this because of the numerous amount of charges but once you learn to navigate it and find the charges you need and you will find them they are here then you will enjoy using it.

 

 

**WARRANTS** - There is not and will not be a charge added Labeled "WARRANT" as there is no such charge in any statute in any state, A warrant is simply a document issued by a court to authorize arrest of an individual for a charge in which the court found probable cause thru a sworn affidavit or criminal complaint to issue such warrant. If you get a ped with a wanted status you simply arrest the ped and charge him/her with whatever the charge is they are wanted for for example if you stop a ped for speeding and dispatch or CompuLite advises the ped is wanted for "Burglary" then you simply arrest the ped and charge him/her for Burglary and whatever offenses you have them for if any. There isnt an additional charge for "Warrant", so before you comment and ask the answer is no I will not add a Unrealistic non charge.

 

**WARNING CITATIONS** - When issuing a Warning Citation to ped make sure to UNCHECK the NOTICE TO APPEAR box if you dont uncheck the box then when you submit the Citation LSPDFR will CRASH. There is no fine amount or jail time assigned to a warning citation so there is no need for a court appearance anyway.

 

**RP DVP** - DVP (Domestic Violence Petition) There is 3 charges under the category labled FOR ROLE PLAY ONLY adn these charges are DVP (1) 30 Day (2) 90 Day and (3) 180 day and these are for random generation from CompuLite to the peds History.  So when you stop a ped for whatever reason and the ped has a firearm in his/her possession and has a valid permit for such when you run the ped thru CompuLite it may generate in the peds history a charge of DVP (30 Days) if so then you would validate it with the date it was issued in Compulite with the date it is at the time of your interaction with ped and if its less than 30 days then the DVP is active and the ped is prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition therefore is in violation of the DVP and this goes the same for the 90days and 180days, just simply a little something extra to add to your gamplay

 

**DWI / DUI** - DWI = Driving While Intoxicated,  DUI = Driving Under the Influence of Narcotics. There are multiple DUI and DWI charges within these XML's theres 1st, 2nd and Felony 3rd offense and each one has a different penalty, there is also charges for DWI/DUI with bodily injury, death, property damage etc. etc. When you are charging a ped with DUI or DWI it is important to check the peds history in CompuLite to see if the ped has previous DUI/DWI charges that way you can charge the ped with the appropriate offense 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. The legal BAC is .08% however like in most states there is a substantially lower BAC for drivers who are under the legal drinking age of 21 or who possess a Commercial or CDL license and also for anyone who operates a motor cycle the legal BAC for these drivers is .04%. So keep in mind that using mods probably wont alert to the smell of alcohol if the driver is below .08% so i would ask questions !!

 

**(M), (F), (A)** - In the Charges XML you will see that all the charges either begin with a (M) or a (F) they simply identify if the charge is a (M)Misdemeanor or (F)Felony. In the Citations XML you will find that some Citations start with a (A) this is to let you know the citation is also an arrest-able offense and charge and it is your discretion to either arrest and charge the ped or Cite the ped (any Citation that has (A) there is also a Charge for it in the Charges XML) all arrest able citations are misdemeanors there is no option to cite and release a felony, all felony charges are thru arrest only.

To install go to GTAV/Plugins/LSPDFR/CompuLite and simply drag and drop and replace default XML files

This isn't those other files, this is the file that was ripped, copied and redistruted with that bullshit added to it, this is however the most accurate and realistic and yea the most downloaded at 95,000 and counting file available. So please research the actuals US statutes and if your going to spread misinformation don't do it here in my comment thread

Not toxic just trying to stress a point that has been discussed and explained several times, since those charges you listed doesn't exist in real life it makes no since to put them in a file that has Realistic as the first word in the Title. Im currently working on a complete overhaul of these files that will be adding a lot of new charges, reconfiguring the whole thing for easier use and navigating the charges, however i will not be adding those in the update either as they are just simply unrealistic as they dont exist

There is 2 charges that can be used one is "Excessive Exceleration" the other is "Reckless Driving", both are commonly used for that and both are in the files

    If you are issuing a warning citation, make sure to uncheck the notice to appear as there is no fine or jail time for a warning and it can cause a crash, other than that there is nothing in the xml files that would cause a game crash, if there was an error in the files it would simply show nothing when you open them it wouldn't cause a crash

    there is no need to update these files constantly because they already contain about every statute you will ever need in game. "Some of these complements are often left to their own devices" , as you can see if you go back thru all seven pages of comments I answer all comments but most could be answered simply by reading the info I have on this download page

    Hi, I would like to contact the developer.
    I tried to modify the language of the charges and citations, but for some reason, compu lite breaks and all the charges disappear, the same thing happened to me with the realistic questions.

    I would like to receive support and consent so that we can create a version in my language.

    I'm the creator of these files and your more than welcome to translate into your native language, I just ask that if you release that you give proper credit.

     Now as far as all files disappearing that is most likely that your making mistakes to the code when you're editing it. You need to make sure that when you edit that you only edit the language, don't change any characters or any other coding

    Thank you for the amazing work! i would like to point only a few things which i cant wait for a update
    Driving suspended with knowledge 3rd shows 2 times and in the same time theres no charge for homemade weapons ( 3D ), also not american but with what do you charge someone that has a "automatic knife" (?? is this even a thing)

    Generally in the states fixed blade knives are legal to carry concealed, while some variations of spring assisted knives are not. there are some very in depth specifics that determine whether concealing it or not is allowed, usually that goes off of the blade length and mechanical functioning (think ballistic knives.) Again, in the United States it is rather difficult to simulate laws for the overall Nation because they wildly vary state to state, where I live in the south, knives under 4" long are legal to carry concealed with no permit, larger knives are not. This also goes for certain assisted opening knives like switchblades which are considered illegal without a CWP (Concealed Weapon Permit) also, there is no class specific license in the southern united states, getting a CWP for a gun carries over to carrying any knife you chose. Also, where I live, it is lawful to carry a larger blade (think bowie knives) without a permit as long as it is NOT concealed on your person, so attached to a belt loop and openly visible to those around you, or on your hip with your shirt tucked behind it making the blade or sheath visible. This was probably a bit of an overkill answer but I figure the more you know the better since maybe you want to model your in game laws around laws like these.

    thanks for the information, yeah when it comes to charges im trying to be as close as arizona but the automatic knife thingy definitely throwed me off a little bit but thx to your explanation it makes sense now. In the same time i dont get why the developers of lspdfr name it automatic knife even tho ive observed switchblade as well

    Technically you could call it an "automatic knife" but that's pretty informal, usually it is referred to something like "Assisted Opening Knife" or they just call it a "Deadly Weapon" Carrying a firearm illegally would typically be referred to as "Unlawful Carry of a Firearm", "Unlawful Concealment of a Firearm" or "Unlawful possession of a Firearm" I'd wager that the charge for carrying an Illegal knife is probably referred to as something similar as mentioned above but from what I have seen mostly it would be filed as "Possession of a Deadly Weapon"

    AZ, has no law prohibiting switchblades or any other knives. Many local cities may still have a law that prohibits them, but the AZ Legislature preempted all the laws in AZ with the passage of ARS 13-3120 in 2011. So, any other local laws within the state are moot.

    In the state of Arizona, it is illegal for a person under the age of 21 to open or concealed carry a knife that is not a pocket knife.

    a file this size takes a lot of time to create and sometimes you miss little things like spelling errors
