Actually officers can be deputized into the Marshal service, police, sheriff, Home Land Security they all can serve to their local jurisdictions and be part of on of the Teams that they have like the TFO (Task Force Officer) FTF (Fugitive Task Force)

I have law enforcement experience, as well. You are right. A DUSM will only wear uniforms with U.S. Marshals.

Sometimes the USMS needs the help of local law enforcement, so they will "deputize" some officers into the Marshals Service for the extent of the operation. This allows local officers to carry weapons nationwide and/or effect arrests for Federal violations (Title 18). I've added a picture to show they most definitely exist, lol.

Great job, buddy. Fix the clipping on the left shoulder patch and it'll be perfect. Or, maybe replace it with a US flag?

I knew that there will someone out there that will back me up :) Thanks @Techengage I'll be fixing those things pretty soon and also I'll be releasing the Police patch as well.Thanks bud.

I know  buddy, I am a LEO in Pa...   You just don't ever see a Deputized sheriff  with full kit lol.  Especially since most sheriff agencies are focused on courtroom security so they wouldn't have a reason to deputize an officer of the court unless they are transporting a wanted person on the marshalls wanted list perhaps ? I don't know  .  & in the images posted above  I assume that's a badge on the left side of the vest..   I don't think a Deputized sherriff would get a USMS badge correct me if I'm wrong.

You have a point. Maybe add a standard DUSM vest, and a Sheriff's Marshal vest.

@sincerexl  Point taken on the badge, here in Southern California I had seen them in full kit, I'll make the changes on the badges Thanks for the Feedback

Local Police Detectives as well as Deputy Sheriff Investigators gets Deputized under the USMS as a Task Force (as people mentioned before). Indeed they don't get the USMS badge (since they are not US Marshalls), BUT if they wish to pursue a career with the USMS later it's considered as a big plus along with other requirements. In other news, I can't locate the dds file in the EUP. Perhaps I shall extract the textures from the zip file and add them myself? Thanks.

Edit: It would be awesome if you could make a raid Windbreaker (blue with white fonts) and maybe a raid long sleeved shirt as well, by using the PIA ones for base.

@JimmyFox Thanks for the feedback, and yes you need to extract the Zip file and replace the texture, I'm also working on the windbreaker, shirts and making some changes to the vest models for Police, Sheriff and USMS I just been very busy lately to work on them.

So there are less than 100 ACTUAL Marshals and close to 4000 Deputy US Marshals. A good friend of mine is reserve Deputy with the local Sheriff's Department, he was deputized to serve on a Task Force down here and he most certainly has a Deputy US Marshal Badge and is entitled to Federal Carry and all that jazz.

I highly doubt that they're participating in operations such as FALCON etc etc. Here we were talking about those who carries the patch "POLICE" or "SHERIFF" who are Sworn LEOs in the first place and they do not fall under a specialized category.

Question, I am fairly new to using EUP and i have replaced these files where they need to be. However how to i get them to work in game? When going through the EUP menu it there's no options to use the vest for any of the sheriff's or etc, what i am missing? Thanks!

You can enable them in Outfit Editor, once you create your character go to the outfit editor and modify the Armor

How can i replace the files? the files in the zip folder in not .ytd, but dds.
