INSTALATION TUTORIAL

STEP 1: Make a backup of your vehicles.awc

STEP 2: Navigate to x64/audio/sfx/resident.rpf/

STEP 3: export the vehicles.awc in openformat/insert mod/import vehicles.oac.

I decided to make this mod to add more realism to felony stops and the start of foot pursuits. When I watch cops I always feel like the GTA car door noices are bland and not really there. This is definitly a mod that you need to get used too and its not for everyone.

It went over the maxium size of the vehicles file and muted the sound in game @S0berDrunk

There is an easy fix for that. Install the old vehicles.awc and place all your audio files in at once, this'll prevent it from doing that. These types of bugs can unfortunately only be prevented this way. For me it worked this.

    If you have MoreControl V you can double tap Y (F for keyboard) to keep the door open

    Or you can press the aim button while you're leaving your car.

    ****Disclaimer**** Doesn't work anymore, if you try to install it will completely remove some sound files, and when trying to revert to the backup doesn't work either!
